I am not a big fan of John wick but i had a pretty cool dream about him: John started a new life with his daughter and a dog with which he lived happily away from trouble.
On his daughter's 9th birthday, commander J.K knocked on the door, John opened it and was surprised with a new contract from the SAA ( Secret Assassin's Agency ) to do one last job. Him, his daughter as well as his dog were taken to the headquarters of the SAA where they were presented with places to stay in London: underground futuristic bunkers throughout the city for their protection, John was then assigned to kill a Korean gang leader.
New location found, John drove there to make a deal with him but things went south very quickly; his daughter jumped from the car scary the gang leader, thinking it was a soy he shot her but missed, John quickly counterattacked with a bullet to the eye wich caused a shootout. Everyone perished except for the Wicks, the leader and his chauffer. 2 days later, He got a new notification telling him where to go, he assigned to his daughter the task to look after the dog in his absence. John then drove to the empty factory where he had an exchange of words before eventually starting a fight and crushing the leader with humongous concrete pipes. John called J.K telling him the job was done, "I highly doubt that Mr.Wick", he found out his daughter was stuck in the bunker which started burning, John drove back as fast as he could only to find it still intact with no sign of his daughter, he started calling out for her until she yalled "daddy!" from outside. J.K had kidnapped the kid and locked John in there, sealing him forever.

I’m 23 (M) and I’ve been talking to this one girl for a while now. We live about 30 minutes away from each other. We’ve seen each other in person a few times but we’re mostly connected through social media. She’s also 23 and both of us have similar interests. I’m into creating films and she’s into photography. Both of us also enjoy to travel. Also we both got a lot of similar views.
For a while we were talking and everything was good. I was about to ask her out and tell her that I wanted to get to know her better. But then… I started to notice a difference in her behavior. At first we often times would have full on conversations and she’d be really invested.
But again, overtime… I noticed she started acting different. She started getting real dry and she never text me first anymore or likes any of my pictures anymore. Honestly… I think when she replies to me sometimes that she’s just trying to be nice. She seems like she has a really good heart so I think she just wants to be nice by replying to me sometimes.
I honestly thought things were meant to be between us, but… It turns out she hates me for reasons I’m not aware of. I wish she would tell me why she hates me but… if I ask her, I’ll just come off as a whiny desperate loser peasant.
At 23 I don’t really have a lot of experience dating admittedly. I grew up in a small town and there weren’t a lot of options in the dating pool. Plus admittedly I had behavioral problems back in middle school and high school and I’ve matured since then… However, it’s hard to reinvent yourself in a small town like this. I have a goal to move away and start over but I won’t be financially able until at least a year from now.
Sidenote… I just want to clarify real quick that I am not moving just to find love. I’m also moving for other reasons, because I want to live in a big city with more job opportunities, more career opportunities for the things I am interested in, more entertainment… Weather… Scenery… Food, options, etc. I know it’s unrelated, but I just wanted to get that out-of-the-way and clarify that I’m not moving just for the sake of finding love.
How can I move on from her and except that she just hates me and wants no part of me? Also how much time do I still have to find someone new in the future?

I'm 25, male, straight, half-white American, half-latino, and I enjoy backpacking around the world. Over the last 2 years, I've spent 6-7 months in about 6-7 countries, and in those countries, I've been with a few girls, some of it fun stuff, other stuff being deeply romantic. I feel like I'm at a crossroads in my taste: I've been on a few dates in my city of Los Angeles, but I always enjoyed the adventurous, spirited, artsy girls I met on my travels. This is my taste and I found these are the girls who truly "get me". My issue, though, is it's hard to form a deep bond with a girl when I'm there only temporarily, especially if she's the traveling type. And it's weird to ask about a 2nd date when I might have a week left in the country, or if they're on their way somewhere. See, I know stories of international people meeting and becoming partners: my dad and mom met in Costa Rica when my dad went on vacation in the 80s, or how my old boss met his wife when he went to Brazil for a trip, or how my cousin in New York met a Russian girl through his pilgrimage to St. Petersburg...
I want to find that partner in Spain, LatAm, Morroco, Iran, wherever she is, but how? Or does this just come down to "game"? Or the amount of time I'm in a country? Does it come down to language barriers solely? Should I learn the language of a desired location? Or am I overthinking this?

One I’m not crazy , two it’s been a long time and three I wasn’t in the best emotional state.so let’s get on with the story. I live in a moderate sized city in a mountainous area. The kind of place you can go hiking and pay an arm and leg for rent. Anyway I’m yammering.
On this shitty evening I was enjoying one of my favorite pastimes: alcohol. As I drank my problems away a gorgeous woman approached me. Short blonde hair, curves in all the right places. Something wasn’t right. Because She was interested in me.This may shock you but stuff like this just doesn't happen. We talked for hours, my jokes were landing. Hell we loved the same horror movies. Kind of ironic now that I think about it. Now I’m not ugly, at least I don’t think so, just a little awkward and dense. But she was way out of my league. I’d be damned if I didn’t look at this gift horse in the right part.
After talking we went to my place. Several things happened. One my life size chucky doll scared the crap out of her. On top of the fridge isn’t the best place for that. Two we cuddled and three she turned into a goddamn werewolf and bit me! All things considered I think I handled it pretty well. I treated my wounds, cried in the shower for thirty minutes and went to bed. What? You expected me to call the cops? They’d ask what kind of crack I was smoking.
Despite being a mythical monster and biting the shit out of me she wasn’t the worst I’ve been with. She cleaned up my place while I was firmly grasping my sanity. Honestly I thought it was a bad dream and I just had a great night with a neat freak. Of Course that didn’t explain the scar. Or how fast it healed.
It had been a week since the Werewolf incident and I was feeling kinda different. My senses were more sensitive. A lot of my neighbors need to take out their trash. Geez people that shit is disgusting. I also heard a friend of mine sneeze from across an entire Walmart.Freaked him out when i texted bless you. My vision has always been good. However now I can see fast moving objects a lot easier. I’m sure the parents of the kid who I pulled from the path of a car that ran a red light are grateful for it. It was awesome.
A week later it wasn't awesome. . I was invited to a party in a town an hour away. Nothing but forests on either side for miles. I was pissed after driving all that way just to find out the party had been canceled. Out of nowhere some asshole in an suv cut me off and I nearly crashed. I pulled off to the side of the road and I was so pissed. Without thinking I grabbed a rock and pitched the greatest fast ball of my life shattering the rear window. I was satisfied until the car stopped and my heart dropped to my ass when it drove back to me.
A mountain of a man stepped out of the car.”How the fuck do you fit in there?” Was my only thought before the rear driver side door opened.the man that stepped out was in his late 40s a few wrinkles on his face and slightly graying hair. He kinda reminded me of Will Ferrel. I mean aside from his hair and eye color he looked just like him. The two walked over to me. I’m gonna call them will and mountain since I never got their names. Will stepped forward and shook my hand.” Hey there. Seems like we’ve got a problem.”
Suddenly I was on the ground, the distinct taste of blood in my mouth and will leaning over me.” Now I understand my friend here was being reckless! “He yelled that last word over his shoulder.” However, you can’t break people’s things.”
He helped me up as Mountain walked over. In the movies you'd expect me to suddenly be an amazing fighter. This was not a movie. Mountain held me in place as Will did his best Rocky impersonation.
My only thoughts at that moment were. Where the hell are my powers.Will took that time to interrupt my thoughts.”Now I'm a fair guy and I can tell you don't have the money to pay for my rear windshield. So what I'm gonna do is beat you until I feel you have learned your lesson. How does that sound?” What an arrogant asshole.
Now if I was in my right mind I would have accepted this punishment but i wasn't in my right mind. I spat blood in Will's face and Mountain threw me to the ground before stomping on the back of my head. Blood dirt and mucus covered my face.
“You know there's one thing I hate above everything. It’s being disrespected!” Will continued his rant while walking back over to me dragging something with him as Mountain dragged me into the woods by my leg. We stopped moving but the ringing in my ears didn’t.
Flipping over to my back the full moon was the only thing I could focus on. “Come on werewolf powers!! Come on!!” I thought to myself. Will looked at me with a goofy smile on his face. He was laughing at me. I didn't think that I said it. I said it out loud. Those were probably gonna be my last words.
A lot of emotions went through my head at that moment. Fear,confusion,remorse,and Anger. Mostly anger . I was pissed. This is the textbook definition of overreacting. I broke a window and I didn't kill his dog. “ You know what Fuck this guy, fuck his car, fuck his friend and fuck werewolves!” Something hit me in the face and I blacked out.
when I came to it was still dark but I could see clearly. The area around me looked like a bomb went off. Several trees looked as if they lost a fight with The Hulk,I was covered in dirt and blood and there was a weird breeze. Looking down I found that The breeze was caused by me being naked.
My body felt like it had been stretched, reshaped and put back together by an angry toddler. By the grace of whatever deity is out there I found my keys and wallet and two more sets of keys and two other wallets.
I followed the smell of exhaust until I was back on the road. Will’s SUV was still there but no sign of him or mountain. I may have helped myself to a duffle bag full of cash in the trunk while searching for something to cover myself with. But I got into my car and drove off in my naked glory. Oh don't judge me, you just read what happened.

I (23f) just called the cops on my neighbors and I feel incredibly guilty about it. I guess I just need to know if I overreacted. I live in a “luxury,” apartment complex, and we have a pretty nice pool area that people use frequently. Around 12:30 AM (Thursday night/Friday morning), a group of people were blasting music through a speaker and yelling while drinking in the pool (which isn’t allowed, per city ordinances for the music, and apartment pool rules for the alcohol). I have to be up pretty early for work, and I was having a hard time sleeping from the noise. My patio opens up to the courtyard, so I just opened my door and asked them if they could turn the music off. They completely ignored me, so I asked them again if they could be quiet. They then started yelling at me, calling me a Karen, and I, in the heat of the moment said something along the lines of “some of us have jobs to get to in the morning.” I’ll admit, I was angry at the initial disrespect, most people either let time slip by them or don’t realize they’re being that loud, and will usually either just be quieter or apologize. I’ve honestly never had to call the cops before, and I just feel incredibly bad about doing so. Last time there were noise issues and I talked to the leasing office, they told me to call the cops, but I just feel like I made the wrong decision out of anger. I called the non-emergency line, and talked to the operator just until they left, I wasn’t sure if they were going to, but since they did, I told them not to send an officer out. The cops in my city have a reputation for being… not so friendly to POC, and I myself am one, so I guess I just feel guilty threatening them over it. I think I made a rash decision, and I feel incredibly guilty.
I’d also like to address a couple things I think people might say: I do have noise cancelling headphones, but I can’t sleep in them this particular night because I have an ear infection. I know I signed the lease for this apartment knowing it’s proximity to the courtyard and pool, and I wouldn’t have otherwise, but the place I was originally supposed to move into fell through, and this was the only place I could get in such short notice, so now I have a year long lease. I try my hardest to be patient, and usually just ignore the noise if it’s a weekend, and only ask people to be quiet if I’m genuinely trying to sleep. It costs $6k to break my lease, and I just don’t have that kind of money to waste on that right now.
I mostly needed to rant, but also, I guess I really just need validation that I’m not a horrible human being for this. I really, really, feel bad about the whole interaction. I’m tired and cranky and just want to sleep. I know these people don’t know that, and their only impression of me is this. I know they were just trying to have fun, and I know I’m just miserably sleep deprived right now, but am I the AH here?
