Can anyone locate this form? I went to the State Solicitor's office in my county and they basically told me to go find it myself and then file it with the clerk and bring them a copy as well... I cant find it anywhere no matter how I word the search... I have a no contact order on my bond and me and my wife do not want it.
Due to a severe blister on my foot i entered a courthouse in texas without shoes on. I needed to see the county clerk to assess records. There were no signs posted that shoes are required to enter the building nor were there any signs posted about any tresspassing or requirements to enter the building. The clerk was more than happy to help and even assisted me although I was shoeless. I was never asked to leave or told to put shoes on and reenter the building. Would any of the above stated cause criminal tresspass issues in the future? According to Code 30.05 I had no notice entry was forbidden due to shoeless circumstances nor was I asked to leave.
The medical field places a high value on training. I finished formal training 29 years ago, but the academy insists that I complete continuing education credits and re-board to stay current. The emphasis on training is also reflected, for example, in that clinicians are known by their highest level of training. A general surgeon who completes a plastic surgery fellowship is a plastic surgeon; An internist who completes an endocrinology fellowship is an endocrinologist. Although Dr. Attia underscores his Stanford and Hopkins background- in the field- heâs an unfinished resident. He doesnât hold board-certification in any field. If this were a book on legal advice, think of it as written by a lawyer who didnât pass the bar.
He got as far as being a resident, and Iâm not at all convinced he was a very good one at that. In the first chapter for example, he retells the story of how he cared for the 14-year-old victim of a car crash. The kidâs pupils were âfixed and dilatedâ. He says this suggested severe head trauma. It also strongly suggested the kid was dead. He writes he knowingly performed futile procedures on a 14-year-old kid, while his colleagues asked him not to. With some virtuous pride, rather than shame, he says his juvenile ego couldnât conceive of not saving every life. I bet Hopkins was happy to see him go. This is precisely the personality surgical programs fear giving a scalpel. Anyway, he didnât finish.
He did, however, go to a rehabilitation facility after some homicidal thoughts. He describes a moment of clarity during a fit of rage, that refrains him from ripping another personâs larynx out. It wasnât because he realized killing is wrong but because he realized he would lose everything heâd worked for. He went to rehab to vacate murderous thoughts from his mind. In keeping, he didnât finish. Later, when his wife feared for her safety and that of her children he went to another program. Now heâs got it. Heâs got a firm grasp on the idea that people are deserving of dignity and respect. Presumably this nugget escaped him during medical school and what he did of residency. He keeps going to programs to relearn the value of âknowledge, dignity and respect.â These are the building blocks of Montessori childcare. Peter is 50.
Attia makes references to âmainstreamâ medicine but never defines it. Politics, as I understand, is driven by compromise and a âmainstreamâ of convenience may arise leaving outliers that are less represented. How does that work in Medicine? Exactly what interventions, with proof of effectiveness has medicine shunned for compromise? Attia doesnât offer evidence of this phenomenon in medicine before affixing the adjective because he canât. Health science is inclusive of all reproducible evidence. The field includes diet, exercise, immune therapies, surgical interventions, and myriad additional varied tools. Is he trying to use âmainstreamâ to mean medicine that demands evidence?
I think so. As the book progresses, he uses mainstream interchangeably with dismissive-of-the-unproven. His book is a collection of case reports and rat studies coupled to a disbelief that their findings have not been widely applied. Heâs here to run with the ball. He must because medicine canât run long trials. If medicine canât run long trials one has to use lesser data, like data that support his points. His editors hope no one finds out how long The Harvard Menâs Trial, The Nurses Study, Framingham, UKPDS, and Hennepin County have been running.
The editing of the book is unnoticeable. Things like âI myselfâ get through, but editing also allows contradictions from one page to the next. On page 11, for example, medicine has been successful at reducing what he calls âfast deathâ but markedly less successful at âslow deathâ, like cardiovascular disease; On page 12, cardiovascular disease progress has been stellar, where mortality rates have been cut by 2/3. Which is it: slow or stellar? The confusion of terrible editing canât hide how little medicine Dr. Attia knows and the difficulty he has understanding the most basic concepts of health science.
Medicine 2.0 is a catch all term for Attia. At times Medicine 2.0 represents standards of care but at other times itâs a repository for what he doesnât know and hasnât read. Things are new to the reader if theyâre new to him. He reviews the statistics of a trial on hormone replacement because heâs a âmath guy.â He concludes that replacement therapy shouldnât be abolished as it has some clear benefits. He discovered this, not the people writing position papers with the same conclusion. Although exercise has been recommended for centuries; although âMedicine 2.0â has had exercise guidelines for decades, it never played a crucial role in health until Dr. Attia read about it.
Attia regular uses misunderstanding as a building block. In one instance, the resident takes on Hippocrates. Since he doesnât understand, primum non nocere (first do no harm), he finds it failing. He uses a case of tamponade to illustrate his misunderstanding. As a patientâs pericardium fills with fluid and chokes the heart, he decides to crack open the chest, incise the pericardium, and relieve pressure. He feels this was in violation of the First Do No Harm dictum. He thinks it means you canât do anything painful or invasive, because short term harm prohibits a broader goal. Drawing blood, in his misunderstanding of Hippocrates, would also violate- First Do No Harm.
The rest of us interpret Hippocrates to mean you shouldnât do things of which you are unsure that could result in harm. No doctor would be excused for standing by on tamponade because he didnât want to cause harm. Itâs a profound misunderstanding of what the dictum means. He goes as far as declaring Hippocrates and First do no harm sanctimonious. Itâs what a resident doesnât tell you that is worrisome. Except in rare situations, most of us relieve tamponade with an 18G needle, he opened a chest. You might notice not a single physician endorses this book, Hugh Jackman does.
In the end, one learns little from Attia. He intimates at treating pre-diabetes with drugs when every trial has failed to show an effect with early treatment. Heâs running a dog trial with promising early data. To the trained ear, it sounds like a trial that couldnât get traditional funding and hasnât published results. He mocks the use of LDL and HDL markers though guidelines based on them have saved millions of lives. He ignores that guidelines for the appropriate use of APO-B, Lp(a) and calcium scoring already exist. He likes to leave things early before he understands them. He stayed long enough to learn APO-B and Lp(a) impart an additional cardiac risk, he didnât stay long enough to learn proven therapies are lacking.
He recommends homocysteine levels and B vitamin replacement acknowledging a link with high homocysteine levels and adverse cardiovascular outcomes. He omits trials have failed to erase the increased risk with B vitamin supplementation. Similarly, he recommends fibrates in the treatment of primary hypertriglyceridemia because he hasnât read- they donât help. Perhaps when he learns this and has another episode of uncontrolled violence, heâll write about Medicine 4.0.
Attia calls attention to Muhammed Aliâs tactical masterpiece in a fight against George Forman. Faced with a more powerful foe, Ali entices Foreman into the irresistible trap of hitting Ali at will. In short order, Foreman loses all strength with the expenditure of his punches and Ali promptly knocks him out. The tactic subsequently enshrined in boxing history as âRope a Dopeâ. Attia draws similarities between the brilliance of his message and the tactics of Ali but ironically, his book is a boxer who canât punch; itâs George Foreman in the eighth. His book doesnât solve pre-diabetes; It doesnât solve NASH; It doesnât relieve dementia. None of Attiaâs punches land. His advice to exercise, diet, sleep well and manage stress is unassailable but itâs not Medicine 3.0 and he didnât discover it.
So to start I 100% did have my phone in my hand when a trooper saw me, I was looking at the GPS as I didn't hear the exit, and wanted to check it.
My court date is the 30th the ticket is cheep, but adds 3 points to diver license, I wish to even if I have to pay extra or go to a class to not get points on license so insurance don't go up.
I've never been to court and this is in Nashville, (I'm from a small city) I really don't know what to do, what to say or anything. What should I do? Do I have to state something to ask for no points? Should I say nothing and hope for no points. Last time I got a ticket was 12 years ago, and it was just an auto go to diving school over court. I've called the county clerk that said I do have to come to court for this, but is easy to just get the diving course and no points hit on license.
Anyone have any advice for someone that's never been to a 35 year old that has never been to a court in his life.
I got married a little over three years ago during the height of lockdowns. Signed marriage certificate First Name Husbands Last Name. Marriage Certificate was filed and certified with county. Due to shutdowns of social security office, DMV etc. I never updated my name on any other documents. My banking, passport, social security card, taxes, driver's license, mortgage, car loan, utilities etc. are all in my maiden name and that is the name I go by. Fast forward to now and it is past the two year period where the certificate is viewed as acceptable by social security for a name change and I no longer really want to change my name. At this point updating those items would take a court order. Will this come back to bite me? Do I need to complete some sort of court process to change the signature for new name on the marriage certificate? This is in Michigan.
Update: I did some digging and while my county website doesn't say anything on the topic. A neighboring county clerk's page states: "If one or both of the applicants plan on a traditional name change, as a result of marriage, (taking partnerâs last name or hyphenating both last names), they may sign with that new name at the bottom of the license.
NOTE: Regardless of how the license is signed, there is no requirement in the State of Michigan for individuals to change their name and no time frame in which it must be done after the ceremony"
So if anyone else in Michigan has this same issue it should be okay.

No experience necessary for the laborer custodial or maintenance mechanic positions. It helps on the interview but you can surely think of maintenance related experience to relay for an interview. Based on fixing things around your house, the car etc.
Always mention working safely.
Pro tip: You can apply for any job that has an exam opening and the test is administered local to yourself. Make sure you're serious and score decently; you can turn down the job offer. Keep a physical copy of your exam score, I believe they are good for two years.
The reason is: These job postings can be posted externally at capacity for testing, meaning they will not allow you to take the exam if they have enough qualified applicants. However, if you have a test score on the books,
you are a qualified applicant.
Explanation of MVO/TTO to save time:
MVO= CDL B Can only drive box trucks on public roads, can drive anything for moves on postal property.
TTO= CDL A Can drive anything.
USPS provides the training. (Maintenance jobs at least. TTO and management...GOOD LUCK)
You don't have to be crazy to work here. We'll train you. Everything but proper email usage. Hello and thanks for giving this the time in reading it! I am unsure as to the best route to take in the best way to begin this process with my (ex) commercial landlord (Florida). It is quite a doozy of a situation but I am needing to take said landlord to court ( as per lease agreement, dispute resolution is to be county or circuit court, albeit he broke that lease agreement). The totality would be breech of contract, damages (flooded due to roof leaks unattended to properly - and didnât have liability insurance or any insurance coverage on the roof ir dwelling - lease specifically notes this to be covered by him) as well as contractual interference, and defamation. My last interaction with him ended in him giving me his general business attorney info to call - to which the attorney basically said - heâs not retained as such - will handle it when he is - ⌠so .. do I go straight to a letter of intent or should I, am I expected to reach out in attempt to negotiate resolution before the letter of intent ?
RESOLVED: Went to the county Clerk's office today (6/1/23) and learned about filing a small estate affidavit. Sixty days after my Grandmother's passing I can return to the Clerk and file the affidavit providing my Grandmother's birth certificate and the Names & Addresses of the Legal Heirs. They'll go over the form with me and get everything filled out then it will be filed and I should have the authority to administer the estate, which primarily just consists of the car at this point as everything else was handled with pre-death arrangements. (Placing my or another successor's name on various titles and deeds of ownership). With that authority I'll be able to sign on my grandmother's behalf to transfer the title. (At least this is my understanding of the situation).
Recently my Grandmother passed away. I was living with her and acting as a caretaker with some help. After her death the family agreed that what she had here would be mine as far as they were concerned. This included her vehicle which I had been the primary driver of for the last several years.
Unfortunately she left no will and so I come to my troubles. Since there is no will the folks at the DMV have said I need to get her legal heirs (Her four children) to sign a legal heir affidavit in the presence of a notary and then one of them can sign the title over to me.
The problem is that all of her legal heirs live in other states. They were here for a single day more or less for her memorial service, but have since left. Getting them back in state all at once and in front of a notary is, in a word, impossible.
Is there any way to legally work around this. I have until July 25 on her insurance at which point it will lapse. I need to figure out how to get the title transferred into my name by then so that I can have the car registered and insured under my name.
I am looking to get an apostle on my birth certificate. I have the letter of exemplification. I know I need to now take it to the county clerk (Not on a Wednesday) before the DOS. But I have read some conflicting info that says I need an appointment to do this at the County Clerk. Is this true? Or can I go early in the morning and just walk in to have it done on a Monday or Tuesday?
