2023.06.08 10:10 sdsfsurfer Widest Size Tire That Will Fit on OEM Rav4 Prime SE Wheels

Hey everyone, I’m looking to switch out my OEM tires to Falken Wildpeak A/T trails on my 21’ Prime SE. What is the widest size tire I can fit on the OEM wheels? I saw someone fit 235/60/R18’s on their Hybrid XSE OEM wheels and was wondering if I could go even wider to 245/60/R18 without rubbing issues. Would the 245 even fit on the OEM wheels or would it be too wide, or is the section that cups the wheel the same for all widths. I am pretty new to all this so any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Bought this Access cab 2 weeks ago, just got the topper installed yesterday.
Next up is wheels and tires. Planning on doing RRW wheels with a -12 offset on 265/70 17 falken wildpeaks. Would the -12 offset make it rub? Not planning on doing a lift for a while. I do plan on off-roading.

2023.06.05 23:34 Popular-Guard-7772 Minot

I'll be moving to Minot in the next 6-7 months. Not too excited to be moving to North Dakota in the middle of winter, but here I go. I have a Subaru with some good tires (Falken WildPeak A/T). They're not winter tires, but hopefully will do a good enough job.
Since I won't have a lot of time to find a place in Minot before I start work, I need some advice as some good places to rent, things to do on my time off, dog sitting / boarding, and overall what I should expect out of Minot. Politics and things don't bother me.

2023.06.04 03:22 brycefriesen Tubbing fenders

After I put on the 1.25” spacers my tires rub on tight turns and with compression on the springs.
For reference I have 285/75/16 falken at3w and a bilstein 5100/ome 883 lift in front.
How hard is it to make clearance for these tires at full compression? I was thinking one of these weekends I’ll take the shocks off and put it at full stuff and cut out what is needed but this is completely new to me.
Hoping to get this ready for some trails this summer. On the street it’s not too bad so I haven’t messed with it at all.
Any feedback is appreciated, thank you!

2023.06.03 14:59 Ericthered01 Another 33 inch tire post.

Hello fellow canyon enthusiasts, I have a 2018 All Terrain. From what I can tell it is essentially a Colorado z71. And like many of you fine folks, I want some big knobbies on it. So after the factory warranty vanished like my desire to keep the stock tires, I started the research process. I scoured Reddit posts on both this subreddit and the Colorado one. I looked at forums and YouTube videos, all in an effort to see what I could fit and how to do it. As one could imagine there was quite a bit of contradictory information on if 33” tires would fit or not. So I settled on bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks up front set on the top setting and 5100’s in the back with a 1 inch block. I also purchased the front bracket that moves the fender liner forward, and I followed a cab side trim guide from YouTube to move the back fender liner back and remove some metal around the pinch weld. Then, I got on CustomOffsets and set my vehicle information and chose “leveling kit” and “no rubbing” just to make sure that what I got would fit. Sure enough, they said I could be put some big boys on there. And I got excited. So I picked up some Reika 17 inch rims. I believe they are 8.5 wide with zero offset. And Falken wild peak at3w, 33 inch tires. They come in and I slap them bad boys on the truck and they look fantastic. I start checking for hot spots by making full turns. I have acreage on the front gap. I turn it the other way, and I’m rubbing all over like a high school dance. And it’s metal. The cab mounting point to be precise. I don’t know if you can grind that part, but I’m not going to. I’m going to drop the tire size and try again.
Moral of the story, don’t rust the internet. Don’t trust the people trying to sell you something. Everyone’s setup is not the same. Sometimes there is no direct answer. I can include links to the YouTube trim video, the front bracket, struts, etc, and I can take pictures of stuff if you guys are interested. I spent a lot of time looking so if this helps anyone I am happy to.
Happy driving!

2023.06.02 06:32 UnBrewsual I Am Looking For 3 Peak All Season Tires For 225/55/R19

It's an AWD vehicle that isn't driven much, but it will soon become my drive up to the mountain vehicle. So far I have found Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail and BFGOODRICH Advantage T/A Sport.
It seems like a lot of tires are out of stock.
Do any of you reccomend another tire?
TIA

2023.06.01 04:44 Tresq13 Price point to sell….?

I am trying to figure out what price to list my 2006 gx470 for, it has an eibach lift and new falken wildpeaks tires (less than 5k miles on them) and 195xxx miles on the odometer.
The interior and exterior are average for a 16 year old midwest GX. Any price point recommendations? Don’t want to have it sit but don’t want to short sell myself

2023.05.29 23:46 godwhomismike Help: Wheels/tires for 2024 Crosstrek? - weight and offset opinions?

I am looking at doing:
17" LP Adventure LP1 wheels - 25.7 lbs
Tire size: 225/60-17 tires so I can use the spare in a pinch (same dimensions (within 1mm height/width) as the stock 18" in 225/60-17). Stock 18" Falken Ziex tire weight: 27 lbs. I have no idea of the weight of the stock 18" wheels.
Option (1st choice) Falken WildPeak A/T Trail (weight - 29 lbs) Option 2nd choice) Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 (weight - 28 lbs)
Would that 1 lb make a difference? Which of the two would do better in snow? I know neither would give me snow tire performance in the winter, but would at least like to have better snow ability than the 18" Falken Ziex tires, especially in my dirt driveway (which is a muddy mess all spring). What offset so no rubbing and it isn't sticking out further than stock? 35mmm?

2023.05.29 22:22 machoboiy 2022 TRD Falken Wildpeak A/T Trail, need your help

Hello everyone,
Does anyone aware or know the MPN / item code for the tire [FALKEN Wildpeak A/T trail] that's being used on 2020 - 2022 Rav4 TRD wheels? [TRD wheel code: PT758-42200-02]
I found few and yet they have different MPN code and having tough time which one need to purchased.
225/60R18 for both tires below

Another MPN and unsure if this falling under either 1st or 2nd based what I have provided above.

So again the goal here is I would like to know for those who own rav4 and that received with FALKEN Wildpeak A/T Trail 225/60r18, could you please help me find the MPN for the tires or the link of that tire?

Found this beauty for sale locally in Canada. Has a ton of upgrades, 2 owner truck. Comment what you think the price should be in CAD
Owner seemed like a great guy, 2 owner truck, first owner had it dealer maintained for the first 315000km. Second owner has a ton of money and work in to it and was asking a pretty high $17,000 CAD. It is a bit of a unicorn but still that seems pretty high. The LBJ are MOOG which is a bit of a concern to me, anyone have any experience with them? Also what do you think is a fair price?

2023.05.26 23:43 Sufficient_Laugh Primitive Racing skid plates (full set) installed.

Primitive Racing skid plates (full set) installed.
We got quite a few scrapes on the plastic splash guard during our first off roading session last month (Kelly Hollow Rd, North of Naches, WA). So, I ordered the armor.
It was pretty easy to install, even for a no-nothing novice like me.
I'm still trying to decide on a wheel & tire combination. I'm thinking about going down to 17" wheels (is smaller possible), but keeping roughly the same wheel+tire diameter.
However, if anyone knows the largest diameter, and width/offset combination that would work on an un-lifted '23 Limited XT then I would appreciate that advice a lot.
I think I'll probably go with Falken AT3Ws for the tires, unless there's a better option.
