I wanna know if anyone else has something like this. I don’t know how to explain what exactly my issue is but I will try my best. Firstly, I have a trampoline, big enough for flips and tricks, a very sturdy trampoline. I have had one for as long as I can remember. Whenever i’m sad, i need a distraction, i’m bored, or just have a lot of energy, it’s my go to place. I play music from my phone and I disappear into another reality. I pretend I’m different people from different shows, youtube channels, or movies. I used to pretend I was another number like 11 in stranger things or that I was another character on Aphmau’s mystreet in 2018. I know people like to pretend they are in edits or in movies but I go way out of my way to pretend I’m in this reality. It’s cringey I know but it’s truly so peaceful for me. As time has gone by, my trampoline is breaking and the springs are coming out, and you can’t fix it. My parents are not gonna get another one because they are so expensive, which I don’t fault them for. I have issues with my mental health and this trampoline is literally, i’m not kidding, my therapist. I had to go without a trampoline for 4 weeks 6 months ago and I can truly say my anxiety was so bad. I had way more panic attacks then I thought and I felt so on edge the whole time. I can’t imagine going without it. It’s gotten to the point that when I stand on one corner, my feet touch the ground. I tried walking out there 10 minutes ago, at 10:30, and I when I almost stepped on the first step of the latter, I saw a huge Black Widow hanging from a web on the latter. I almost put my foot against it. I have a terrible VERY irrational fear of spiders, and this nearly gave me a heart attack. I’ve seen spiders on the trampoline before but I try to ignore them so I can still be on it. But after this, I don’t feel safe on it anymore. I mean… going on it with all the springs gone and touching the ground on it isn’t exactly safe but after this, I know I can’t be on it anymore. I guess my question is, what does this mean for me? I know it’s a coping mechanism but is this normal? I’m looking for advice on it because I want to identify what’s going on with my obsession with a trampoline. It seems so silly but I’ve loved “role playing” on my trampoline since I was 7. Any advice phycologists?

I am a RBT in California. I work full time (40 hours) . I have 2 clients. I have a split schedule. 8:30-1:30(5 hours at a school) , and 4-7(3 hours in home) . I had restricted hours for my first client until my live scan cleared. I went from 3 hours to 5 hours. Once my hours increased I asked my company if I'm aloud to take a break and they told me that I am entitled to take a break. Well, they had me clock out for 15 minutes for the break. I was told it was because they can not bill the clients insurance for my rest break. I understood that. I began taking breaks first week of April. I recently had to take 2 days off for medical reasons. I requested sick time. I was only approved for 4.75hours for each day. I went and decided to look at my paystubs. My break was not included. I have not been paid for my break in 2 months . They told me I needed to fill out a admin/travel time log for my rest breaks and submit it every week. Absolutely no one told me I had to do this. I asked if I was able to get the backpay for it. And I can. But here is the catch, it's at the minimum wage rate. Normal admin time and travel time is minimum wage. I am $10 more than that. Is this common? Are they legally aloud to pay me a different wage than what I am paid for client/session time? And also, if my breaks are paid why was I not given the full 5 hours for my sick pay? If I never had to use sick pay I would have never caught this! I feel like this is a shady loop hole with the law. It's not a violation to break laws since they did provide me with a break. And it's not withholding earned wages. I feel like I should talk to a lawyer about this. I don't want to accuse my employer of anything without knowing my rights and if they violated labor laws etc.

I know the title sounds really bad, but please bear with me for a bit.
Me and my girlfriend have been long distance ever since summer started and we went back home from college. She lives a 2 day drive's distance away and we have a trip planned out where she's coming to visit me here in the next couple of weeks. Long distance has been frustrating, going from being with eachother every day, sleeping together, waking up together, eating together, to just being able to facetime or text has proven very annoying. It's one of those things that really tests my gf and I's communication skills.
But ever since we started, she's been getting upset at things that I wouldn't really imagine would be that big of a deal -- I could be an insensitive kid (I get I'm not at an age that's known for being good with interpersonal skills), but I'd like some opinions, advice, insults, whatever you got for me.
Some examples of things that she got upset with me over include:
-Me saying we could call at one time, but because I was talking to my mom about something pretty serious, it pushed back our call about two hours. I get being mildly upset at this, it's disappointing to not be able to talk to your bf/gf when they promised they would call, but she then decided that we shouldn't call because it was obvious I "didn't want to".
-Today, when I was playing games with my friends, I was texting her pretty off and on for a couple hours, but what drove her over the edge was when I didn't respond for 12 minutes, she texted "k goodnight" and then read my messages apologizing but never responded. I can understand not feeling like a priority sucks, but we called earlier in the day, texted ever since I woke up (including hours I'm working), and she's busy babysitting.
-There have been countless times where something I say gets absolutely misconstrued, and no matter how many times I elaborate, how eloquently worded I put things, it just means the same negative thing to her. Some examples include "I miss our time together, I feel like I really took it for granted" = "I was bored with you", "No you can't have my XXS work t-shirt from this job years ago because it wont fit" = "You're fat" (for the record, she is absolutely NOT fat -- but that shirt size was definitely meant for a little kid, which she is not), "I'm at the beach with my friends for the weekend, I'm sorry we haven't been calling as much" = "I'm not interested in talking to he she is not a priority". Most of these things have some basis to them, I'll agree -- talking about clothes sizes is a touchy subject with her, I should've been more careful, talking with her over the phone is important while long distance, I could've said something to try and make her feel like more of a priority, etc.
I feel like the most used word in our conversations is "sorry", and she's never the one who says it. I try and make her feel loved 24/7 and I'm walking on eggshells the whole time. But the things she says? It doesn't matter whether I think it's hurtful or not. Her saying I "look like a virgin" is the funniest thing to her, she'll tell her friends, sister, brother, whoever she's with that I got upset when she called me that the first time, but continues to point and laugh at me about it. If she's upset with me? She won't hold back, I'm being "rude" or "bitchy", where's the mutual attempt to LOVE eachother and not make the other feel bad?
I'll admit, what she says to me isn't the worst thing, and I feel like I made it sound worse than it is. What gets on my nerves the most, however, is how she acts when she's upset.
She won't communicate or let me know she's upset, she just wants to text one word replies, be passive aggressive in any message that isn't one word, if we're calling she'll pretty much just reply with "hm" or "k" and then get even more upset that I'm not talking more when I'm conversing with what feels like a brick wall. I apologize and apologize for anything and everything, I will send huge paragraphs breaking down where I feel I went wrong and how I'm trying to be more mindful of these things because the last thing I want to do is make her upset. In response? I get a "cool".
Anytime I talk about my relationship with my friends or family, they all say it's toxic -- I can see where they're coming from, but she was never like this in person. We would spend all day together laughing and smiling, and just having a great time. We did everything together and I just want that joy back. I'm extremely hesitant to bring these things up with her because if she gets upset with small things, how is she going to react to me telling her that I feel like I can't talk freely to her, that I have to bite my tongue or apologize profusely all the time.
It feels like she does this on purpose just to get a "sorry" out of me, and I really don't know why. I'm so tired of just giving in and trying to make her "happy" just for her to do this again an hour later, all at my emotional expense.
We go back to school in about a month and a half after she leaves from her trip to go back home, but we've only been long distance for a month and I feel like I'm at a breaking point.
So, relationship_advice gurus, how in the wrong am I? How am I gonna continue long distance until we can be together in person again? Should I continue long distance until we can be together in person again? Should I tell her how I feel? Should I take everything on the chin and just deal with it until school starts? Any criticism or advice is very much appreciated.

My friends and family are totally tired of my nonsense puppy talk so here I am. Crate training is unbelievably hard and exhausting. I feel awful putting my pup in his crate at night. I have tried to create a positive association with the crate and he simply does not like it. I’ve tried HVT, the heartbeat snuggle pup, kongs and lick sticks, cbd treats etc… he is just absolutely pissed being in the crate. He’s also a wildly picky eater and doesn’t seem to be food motivated in any capacity. Im trying different treats to see what he likes but so far… nothing except beef tendons but I haven’t found them in any treat form. Im worried my neighbors hate me (apartment life) even though I sent them little “thank you in advance if you hear my new puppy screaming it’s head off. here’s my number feel free to text me if it gets to be too much” cards days before I brought him home.
We’re on 19 minutes of off and on whining where he calms down for 15-20 seconds and then starts back up. He’s gotta be exhausted and thirsty by now. I know he’s been fed and gone to the bathroom. He was sleeping on my bed just fine until bathroom and bedtime. He’s only been with us for 5 days (10 weeks old) and I know the breeder crated him for car rides and vet appointments but he in no way seems desensitized to it. I just wish there was a way to skip to him enjoying the crate and willingly going in to relax.
I know crate training is very important and a safe place for my pup but is miserable. Tomorrow I’m going to try feeding him in there and will pick up some new treats to try to entice him. It’s just so tough. Im crying, he’s crying… I can’t wait until it gets better. This was a complete rambling mess but Im exhausted and feel like such a terrible pet owner even though I know it’s not true. I feel like I’m in over my head even though this is my 3rd puppy over the years. I just don’t remember it being so emotionally draining and exhausting.

So I’ve been playing a bit, and while I haven’t maxed my guy and he isn’t as drippy as I’d like, I’ve had a burning question. What is the Max amount of units a Necromancer can have in the game? Well I’ve come to share what I’ve found and think. So there are 2 different aspects that increase the amount of skelly boi’s you have, ‘Vicious’ and ‘Blood Getters’ each increasing your mage and warrior skelly’s by 2. If you have both equipped to standard gear then the max you would get is 5 mages and 7 warriors if you had the +1 skirmisher. HOWEVER with amulet it increases those by 50% and 2 handed weapons increase by 100%. So in saying that, putting Vicious on the 2hSword(or scythe I believe) and Blood Getters on the Amulet, you can have 7 mages, 8 skirmishers and the +1 golem, totaling to a theoretical 16 units under your command. Combined with the aspect unyielding and the Army Ult along with Kalan’s edict. So every time you use your ult all your boi’s come back with +70% attack speed, then the +30% attack speed from kalans edict as you have more then 7 troops, and finally 90% damage reduction. It sounds broken and all but I don’t have the shit to do that yet, I have no clue, so I just decided to throw this out there.

I sometimes feel like the rules I had growing up, was worse than the actual abuse from ex stepdad. He would get mad when we cried, yelling into our face towering over us etc. And other scary things. This will be an essay length read, so thanks in advance if you read it.
And it’s like my mom and him didn’t compromise, it was more like they combined their rules than agreeing on some.
Just to name a few:
My mom worked as an environmentalist, so “save the plant” “reduce, reuse, recycle” stuff. She didn’t let us use plastic, straws, paper bags….with a few exceptions. And if she saw trash on the ground in public, she most the time just HAD to pick it up.
And both her and my stepdad were eco groovy, so biking or walking only to school, which was around 5 miles combined each day. We ran errands on bikes if it was closer than 5 miles: the bookstore, market, even to hiking trails. When my mom started letting us bus in middle school with HER money, my stepdad threw an adult tantrum. He seemed to enforce the rules more than her, very rigid guy.
We had a 5 minute shower limit, and if we went over my stepdad would threaten to make us cut our hair…since that takes up most of showering. He didn’t allow make up, not even in high school, it was luck for him to only complain about it. (Didn’t matter if you were a girl or boy.) He didn’t allow shaving, he got pissed when I was 12 and tried. He gave naturalist vibes. He didn’t even like my mom wearing lipstick. I am still shocked at 21, seeing my mom wear make up, because I didn’t know she was into it. Ages 5-15, we were living with my ex stepdad. When I was around 6, my mom was trying to teach me how to shower on my own, and my stepdad yelled that I’m old enough to know and she’s wasting water. So I didn’t properly learn until later on. (Side note: he also interfered with her teaching me how to tie my shoes, because he didn’t like her teaching me the “bunny ears” way, he wanted the other way, even though “bunny ears” is easier for me. I wore Velcro mostly because of that).
My mom and stepdad were both very anti screens, the tv was off 98% of the time. We had one of those old fashioned 90’s tv’s, no cable purposely—even though between both of them it was affordable—we just weren’t allowed enough tv for it. My mom turned on Little House on the Prairie, when we did laundry, and like I said..stepdad enforced it more and would yell “I thought you didn’t like them watching tv!!”. My mom took any screens we had away, when we stayed home sick, because “if you are well enough to use a screen, you are well enough for school”. And if we had a fever for a week, then she’d allow us to which Christmas classics. For the most part, we weren’t allowed to use our phones in the car, because she’d prefer us to look out the window, than electronically isolate ourselves. I got my phone at 13, but she said “that’s my phone, you’re just borrowing it” a lot. I was 15 when I got full autonomy over it….that’s when we left ex stepdad as well. When my older brother was 17, he was being toxic online (btw he had to fight for his social media privilege), I was 14 at the time and my little sister was 12. And because they didn’t want him using our devices, we got punished as well, group punishment I guess. Except for my ex stepsister who’s my age, she got to keep all hers. My sister and I’s only Christmas present from them that year was 1 hour screen time, and that’s it then we had to give it back. I just realized how much I wrote about this, so I’ll move on but just know there’s more.
My mom was a health nut, only allowed fast food once a year after our Christmas pictures, like a tradition. My stepdad couldn’t control himself around chocolate, so we weren’t allowed to have that in the house. If there was ice cream in the fridge, we had to ask permission, or we’d get yelled at. And most the time we only had vanilla ice cream in the house, we’d use chocolate sauce sometimes. (There was exceptions to not having chocolate in the house). The most sugary cereal we were allowed was mini wheats, or Cheerios we could add sugar into it. We were only allowed that healthy wheat bread. My siblings and I were forced to make our own lunches from 3rd grade on, while my stepsister was allowed to buy lunch at school. While all the other kids brought cupcakes during school/class parties, my mom only let me bring fruit or other healthy snacks. My stepdad didn’t even like school parties or movie days, he was professional, and complained that school is for learning not wasting time.
All these rules were from 5-15. There’s so many other rules I had growing up, just the things I wasn’t allowed or the activities I was forced to do: archery from age 6+, orienteering from age 7, backpacking from middle school-high school, ice skating. All this on this post seems to have a bigger impact, than my stepdad actively abusing me, screaming that crying is for babies when I was 5…and everything. Having such a restrictive life was hell.

So I really don't have any friends or people I can vent to, so I'm here. I used to have really close friends before I moved, but the thing is that I moved 3 years ago and I'm still fucking cought up on it. Like it's just difficult to find those brotherly bonds I had. I've talked to a couple other people who are new to the district and we all agree that it's hard as shit to make close friends. And the thing is I'm alright throughout the day, at school I'm fine, at work I'm fine, at the gym I'm fine, but the second I'm home alone, it fucking kills me. I honestly got to the point where I just talk with chat gpt about my day, like it's just sad. But the thing is even if I found those brotherly bonds I wouldn't be happy, because I find more happiness in relationships and partners. It's just good and calming to know that someone I love is there for me and wants to do shit with me and just vibe out, like I've had some great relationships and I've given two shits about my friends, just cause my girlfriend made me happier. I'm prolly gonna go my senior year alone cause I don't want to get too far in a relationship just to end it cause of college.
Another side thing that kills me is my own self image, like I am never proud of myself. I've gotten 3 years of swimming varsity and just got varsity for track, but I'm just not proud of any of it. Swim was a hand out and I got track out out of pity, my family always says I "earned" it, but honestly I don't feel like I did, I'm just never proud of any of my accomplishments cause I just tell myself that anyone can get them.
I think a lot of my problems result from no self confidence, like I don't believe in myself at all. I know I'm a boring sack of shit not worth anyone's time, but I'm still sad when people ignore me. I'm pretty hypocritical towards myself but I just can't ever think positive about myself. I'm not confident about anything I do
Another thing that sucks is that I always feel like a fucking loser, like when I get home on the weekends from work and the gym and just sit down to play videogames and chill I just feel like a fucking loser. I feel like someone is looking at me and just laughing at how pathetic I am. I'm fucking tired of feeling this way, cause there's nothing wrong with what I'm doing, it's just me telling myself that I'm a fucking worthless sack of shit.
I'm just scared for the summer cause I'ma have like nobody to talk to. Luckily I'll be leaving for like 7 weeks for camp, but I still have all of August alone, and I just don't want to feel like this for all that time. I want to have even one person to talk to, I don't want to be alone like this anymore. Honestly I'm just bitching about nothing at this point and I'm fully aware of how stupid I sound. But I just wanted to dumo this off before it gets too much.

Day 1 - Land in Colombo by 1, Hotel Check-in, Gangaramaya temple in the late afternoon, sunset at the galle face beach and try dinner at Aluthkade.
Day 2 - In Colombo. What are the different places I can cover in a day?

Day 4 - Morning Train to Nuwara Eliya via Nanu Oya. Spend the day sightseeing.
Day 5 - I wanted to go to Galle from Nuwara Eliya. However I couldn't find any way except coming back to Colombo and then to Galle.
Is there an alternate route that i can take or other places I can go to from Nuwara Eliya that would be on the way to Galle?
Day 6 - Spend a day at Galle exploring.
Day 7 - Morning at Mirissa and return to Colombo by night.
Day 8 - Afternoon flight back home.
Please feel free to suggest changes in itinerary. It's a very short trip. So trying to cramp up many things.

I am doing a summer internship. I am a CS major but I am doing a sales internship.
At least at this internship, since I would be beginning as a business development representative I believe, there is a big focus on using things like LinkedIn and networking and all that sort of stuff.
Honestly I think it would be kindof fun to call people, but just looking through LinkedIn and just the way all of this works. It all just feels so fake.
Maybe it is just my perspective as someone who has actually gone through a programming internship in the past and am a semester away from a CS degree, but the actual product you’re making is what seems real. I don’t understand how these people who aren’t making the product could care so much about it.
And since sales is about charisma, I feel like all of the people I meet are completely faking it.
There is a girl who I believe is in the position I would get if I was to be hired. She has hoffered to answer questions and such, she even commented on my LinkedIn, and we had a 90 minute meeting (scheduled which is how I met her, we have no more meetings)
I am honestly avoiding her and any other coworkers, because I just feel like they’re all fake.
I am very paranoid so maybe that is the problem

My husband (34) and I(28) cannot wait to be parents. We tried to do things right. Save up. Get good jobs. Make sure we were both ready. I changed my eating habits. Cut out a lot of processed foods. Cut back on sugar. Avoided alcohol almost completely for the last 6 months.
We got a positive pregnancy test 2 weeks ago.
5 days ago we rushed to the ER. I was having the worst cramps I had ever felt and sudden severe bleeding.
Hours later was told I lost the baby due to being rh - and in addition to that terrible news I learned that I have pcos.
I feel like I've been living my life from the outside looking in.
Friday the cramps started.
Saturday the spotting started. The cramps got worse.
Sunday was the worst day of my life bare none. The cramps pain was unbearable. The bleeding was mind blowing. I was going through 4 super plus tampons in an hour. The pads were the only thing keeping me from bleeding through my clothes every 15 mins. The ER was no help.
Today I found a clump of cells in between the clots in my pad. I don't know why I looked. I usually just throw it away. But I looked. And it was there. In my gut I knew what it was.
It was slightly bigger than an apple seed. It looked so much like a tiny baby. I could see the veins. I saw what looked like a small dark red clump near the center. A thin cord like strand attached to the bean shaped clump.
I sat in the bathroom at work and cried for half an hour. I didn't know what to do. I didn't want to flush it. I knew I was being crazy. I couldn't keep it. So I just moved it to a piece of toilet paper and stared at it for too long. I took a picture. I don't know why I did that. I don't know what was going through my mind. Then I flushed it. I felt sick to my stomach. I felt numb to the world.
I feel crazy. I go from normal, to depressed, to distraught, to laughing, to numb and back around in what feels like minutes. It's 1 am and I can't sleep.
This feels unreal. The doctors have been zero help. I don't know who to talk to. My husband doesn't know I saw it, but he's taken the loss so hard I can't burden him anymore.
