2023.06.08 23:40 Fluffydoggos69 Why do people think Charlie was murdered outside of Fredbear's?

In give cake we see Freddy, not fredbear, giving cake while Charlie is murdered outside, (if Scott wanted Fredbear to be brown he would've just made him brown in FNAF 3 and 4), we know this is Freddy as his colors match the later seen Freddy head put on a dead child, along with the McFarlane building toys confirming this sprite as Freddy. Also in security puppet the other kids wear bracelets that match the withered animatronics eye colors. Also the FNAF SL breaker room map only lists 2 animatronics in Fredbear's. Fredbear and Spring Bonnie, no puppet at all.
So, with all of this pointing towards Charlie being murdered at the first Freddy's, why is the idea of Fredbear's more appealing?

2023.06.08 12:29 TheDreamingFirefly Gregory, Cassie & The Mimic - A Fledgling Theory

Anxiety Babble
Just want to get this out of the way now. I have not been able to get my hands on the books myself and my knowledge of this series is strictly secondhand via watching theory videos, let's plays and minor playtime from myself.
I am still getting into and coming to know the lore, lore that no one has truly cracked 100% yet. So please be kind when responding to my silly thoughts.

The Theory
Gregory is human and the real robot child is Cassie, the girl we will play as in Ruin.
Also they were 'raised together'.
The Mimic is several entities.

Gregory Is A Real Boy
There is a bit of debate over this issue as I recently saw a post on here showing as much.
Originally I too believed MattPatt's theory on how Gregory is a robot, built to replace William Afton's son, the crying child. However I saw some pretty good arguments making me think otherwise.
  1. The Ultimate Guide stated him to be human
  2. Gregory is said to have had parents and a good childhood
  3. He wouldn't be the first to get brain washed
Basically my thoughts are that a replacement for the crying child was needed. He is patient 46 and quite possibly another victim of the brain washing from VR.
VR was released as a game meant to both distract everyone from the truth but also to help William Afton/Glitchtrap brainwash others into helping him get into the material world.
Vanessa was only a partial success. This is partly due to her being easier to manipulate than others, but who would be even easier to manipulate? A child.
We already know Gregory loves games and places fairly high in all of them as indicated by the initials GGY on all of the arcade games.
What if Gregory played fnaf vr and was lured by Glitchtrap and brainwashed? He is then taken or mind controlled into running away. The birthday set up is to help brainwash him.
He wasn't alone in that room though. The notes all over that room were him communicating with the real robot child.

Entering The Scene - Cassie
If you have the time I suggest you go to YouTube and look up Funaff as it is his theory/explanation that really has me thinking about this.
John explained/theorized several things
  1. Edwin from the book is a parallel for Henry
  2. David is Charlie's parallel
  3. The original mimic is Baby/Robot Charlie
  4. There were other Charlie bots
I don't want to put words in his mouth but I think he implies that Cassie, the girl we are speculated to play as in Ruin, is a young Charliebot.
Another parallel that he pointed out was the location Gregory was kept in is at least structured in the same way that Henry/Edwin's workshop is described in the books.
My line of thinking here is what if that is Henry's workshop in Security Breach? Its possible that a child version of Charliebot was left behind.
The original plan may have been to use her as a replacement for Elizabeth, but she wasn't as easy to manipulate. This leads to the new plan where Vannessa is the replacement.
Gregory still needed a friend to keep him occupied though so the Charliebot, Cassie was booted up.
Those colorful sticky notes are from Cassie and Gregory communicating. The one who is learning to write and talk like normal is Cassie.
There Are Several Mimics
The original mimic would be the young Charliebot. She was made to replace his daughter whom Afton had killed.
Older Charliebot, the one that would later become Circus Baby, was the second mimic. At least she was meant to be.
The older Charliebot was incomplete, but she had Henry's mimic program installed, she was meant to be an older Charlie after all.
After being turned into Baby she was corrupted. She was made to kill.
Something I am curious about is if the girl asking about Baby being made for her is actually Elizabeth? Is it possible that the girl was actually Cassie, the child Charliebot?
Would the mimic be able to tell the difference? Especially after being possessed by Elizabeth?
Anyways, John/MattPatt (can't remember who said it) had a good point towards Baby being the mimic, not only can you see the parallels in the books, but in Sister Location Baby talks about pretending – aka mimicking.
If this program was already in the hands of Afton I think John was right about it being used in the system for Security Breach, making the other animatronics pretty much mimics of Charliebot/Baby.
The building would essentially have been exposed to Charliebot / Baby Ai and that is the voice we hear in Ruin not Gregory who escaped.

Some More Details/Thoughts
Gregory being able to understand the symbols about dodging and shooting could be from talking to Cassie. She made it up after all – well Charlie did.
Cassie being raised with him makes a bit more sense as how would he know who she is otherwise?
Another thought I had was about where she is during Security Breach? What if she had been helping Gregory to break out, but Vanessa was on to them?
Cassie escaped but Gregory had got locked in. Ultimately he does escape but Cassie doesn't know as she was trying to break back in to help him. That's why she is so eager and willing to help "Gregory" in Ruin.
The mimic senses Cassie and is probably desperately looking for a way to escape or for revenge.

The End

I dunno this probably doesn't work how I think it does. Would love to hear thoughts on it all though. Any points you want to add or to challenge are welcome. Y'all more than likely know way more on the topic than me, but I'm slowly getting the hang of this... I think 😅

2023.06.08 05:27 VideoGameChronology My FNAF Timeline Part 1: Fredbear's to the MCI

After figuring out what theories I believe, I decided to make a Timeline of all my ideas. This is Part 1 covering Fredbear's to the MCI. This timeline also incorporates StitchlineGames and the Tales stories. Until all the books release, I will assume that all the Tales stories are in continuity. I'm gonna start with the creation of Fredbear's Family Diner as everything before is essentially headcanon aside from the existence of a Fredbear's Singin' Show but that isn't super relevant. Feel free to ask questions in the comments. The next part I'll try to cover everything from the aftermath of the MCI to FNAF 4's nightmares.
Henry Emily and William Afton come together to create Fredbear's Family Diner containing two springlock animatronics, Fredbear and Spring Bonnie. There will later be a Security Puppet added to the location to look after Henry's daughter, Charlie. This is the location the Security Breach posters are from.
William has a family at this point which is shown in the Staff Bot Family. The members consist of William Afton, Clara Afton (placeholder name), Michael Afton, Garrett Afton (placeholder name), and Elizabeth Afton. William had quit his job to work on Fredbear's with Henry which Clara doesn't approve of as she worries that it won't be successful and that they won't have enough money to support their kids. Clara and William eventually divorce and somehow William gets custody. William is not the best father and is abusive towards his kids as seen in the trilogy novels with how he treats Elizabeth and as will be seen when we go through this Timeline. All this is implied by the Afton Family Staff Bot unused lines and Vanessa's past in the Security Breach CDs that seem to be parallels to the Afton Family.
It's implied by Vanessa's past that after William got custody of the kids, Clara killed herself.
William starts having a drinking problem over the death of his wife, the only person he actually cared about as he's shown as neglectful towards his kids and sometimes even abusive. William is kicked out of Jr's and, still drunk, drives to Fredbear's where he sees Henry's daughter had been locked outside by some bullies. William, not entirely thinking straight and envious of Henry's perfect family, decides to take his anger out on Charlie, killing her. After realizing what he's done, he drives away. However, the Security Puppet had made it's way outside, becoming drenched in the rain and breaks down right after reaching Charlie. Charlie's soul possesses the animatronic.
The wickedness of William manifests into Shadow Freddy, a shadowy version of the mascot of Fredbear's, the location Charlie died at. Shadow Freddy lures Garrett to Fredbear's where he mistakes Shaodw Feeddy as Fredbear. Once at Fredbear's, he sees Charlie's body and assumes Fredbear had killed Charlie, leading to his fear of the animatronics. Meanwhile, William arrives back home to find that his son had run away and promises that he'll be sorry once they return
Inspite of the tragedy, Fazbear Entertainment opens Freddy Fazbear's Pizza which quickly grows in popularity with a cartoon, plushies, masks, and figurines releasing of the characters that year. Fredbear also gets a redesign replacing the black hat and bowtie with a purple hat and bowtie, as well as making him more yellow. Spring Bonnie also gets a redesign, thos time having a buck teeth and little bunny tail out the back. The original versions of Fredbear and Spring Bonnie are used at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
As buisness is booming, William started to notice some weird things happening with the Security Puppet that has been decommissioned, it's starting weirdly when he's present, like it's aware, it also seems to be able to go anywhere Inspite of it's programming. This only started happened AFTER Charlie died, something was definitely up. He theorizes that it The Puppet may be possessed in some way by Charlie. If this is true, William could uncover the secret of immortality. So, William gets to work on figuring out how exactly it all works. He theorizes that it may have something to do with the emotions that Charlie felt when she was killed, fear and agony. But, he needed a test subject, someone with a lot of fear towards the animatronics. Luckily for him, his son had just began to fear Fredbear, he didn't know why, but he could use this to his advantage.
He moved his family to a house closer to Fredbear's and kept the old house in the woods as a test house. He placed animatronics with illusion disks that would make the viewer see nightmarish versions of these characters. William placed cameras around the house and started his plan. Every night he would take Garrett from their house near Fredbear's and place him in the previous house. He would then wake Garrett up and let the experiments begin. William didn't care that he was torturing his son, it was all in the name of making himself immortal, which is all he cared about. This torture would continue night after night until Garrett was convinced the animatronics would catch him and eat him. It didn't help that he accidentally saw someone being suited up in the mascot costumes and thought it was the spring characters eating people. These nightmares are shown to have actually happened at some point in the Timeline by Sister Location.
Because William was stuck in his own experiments, Michael had to look after Garrett and Elizabeth. Michael had it rough, his father neglected him and his mother was dead, and it didn't help that he had to essentially babysit his crybaby brother that wouldn't shut up about animatronics trying to eat him. At least he didn't have to deal with Elizabeth too much, she was off at daycare most of the time anyways, but Garrett was too old for that. Mike started taking his anger out on his brother, scaring him with the Foxy mask. He found joy in his brother's tears of fear and continued to do this.
William saw what Mike was doing, but instead if stopping it, he allowed it, this would help increase his son's fear, making experimentation that much easier, and he was already seeing results from his tests on emotions. He decided to turn his son's bullying into an experiment. He placed cameras in the Fredbear Plush that Garrett had and a speaker, using it to watch and talk to Garrett. He pretended to be a friend but was really just trying to scare Garrett by doing things like reminding him of what he saw and telling him his brother was waiting to scare him but not where. Sister Location and some of the Frights stories heavily implies William is the Fredbear Plush in the first 4 minigames
As Garrett's birthday came closer and closer, William forced him to have his birthday at Fredbear's despite his objections to it. As the day came closer and closer, the bullying got worse and worse until the day of the party. Michael had brought his friends and wanted to have some fun with his brother. After some mild teasing, him and his friends took Garrett up to Fredbear to give him a big kiss. However, his head got stuck in Fredbear's mouth, and as Garrett wiggled around to get out, the group just laughed and laughed and laughed until the animatronic malfunctioned, crushing his head. The boys stopped laughing and stared in horror. They quickly tried to think of excuses, "He tripped and fell on Fredbear's teeth. Not our fault." But it was their fault.
Garrett was taken to the hospital and was dying. Michael apologized to his brother who could hear all of it but then he heard the voice of his plushie but it sounded different, yet familiar. It was Charlie, she had came to help Garrett, promising to put him back together, but she doesn't know how, but she'll find a way. After Garrett flatlined, his soul possessed the only metal near him, the Fredbear Plush. William moved the Fredbear Plush to the underground facility where it would stay for a while, not knowing it carried the soul of his son.
Edwin Murray had been working for Fazbear Entertainment since September of 1982 and was helping create the animatronics for other restaurants while also looking after his son, David. He decides to create a robot to look after David for him and spends the next 22 days creating the Mimic. The Mimic starts to mimic David, pretending he was holding the same Tiger plushie David had, being able to play patty cake, learn David's made up sign language, play catch, etc. Soon Mimic started doing more than just mimicking, it started responding and Edwin feels confident enough to leave David in Mimic's care.
A few days later, David goes to play outside, waiting for his dad but Edwin thanks Mimic will take care of him while he wakes up. However, when he gets outside, he sees David chasing the ball into the street where he is hit by a white van, killing him. For the next 2 weeks, Edwin mourns David's death before getting so mad at Mimic for mimicking David that he destroys it, infusing his agony with Mimic, an action which would have unforeseen consequences.
January of 1985, Dominic, Harry, and Glen are sent to Edwin's factory to clean up the mess Edwin left and make repairs after Edwin had vanished. They learn of a team that was sent in December to do the same thing, with that team finding the Mimic endo and repairing it, giving it legs. The trio find the bodies of the previous team mangled in the fridge with one of them hanging with his entrails spilling out. The trio are then picked off by the Mimic in different costumes, first is Harry who gets his brain pulled out, then there's Glen who gets his head slammed into the brick wall, finally there's Dominic who gets his trachea pulled out.
It's now summer of 1985, the Springlock Suits have been discontinued thanks to a failure that happened at one of the sister locations. Fredbear and Spring Bonnie are kept in the building but are told not to be worn. William disregards this, wanting to try another experiment. He thinks that if he were to kill someone and stuff them into an Endoskeleton that it would cause that person to possess the suit. So, William does exactly that. His first victim is Susie who recently had a dog get runover by a car, she's not exactly having the best day. So, William thinks she's an easy target. He dresses up in the Spring Bonnie suit and goes to Susie, telling her that her dog is still alive and that all she has to do is follow him to where he is. Susie follows Spring Bonnie, happy to see her dog only to be killed by William who stuffs her body into Chica.
Next victim is Jeremy whose parents left him alone at Freddy's. He tells him that he can help find his parents, luring him into the Safe Room and stuffing him into Bonnie.
Next victim is Gabriel who is having his 7th birthday party. He's struggling with homework, so William decides to help him, leading him into the Safe Room where he's stuffed into Freddy.
Next is Fritz who he tells about his friends that are all having a party in the Safe Room without him and that it'd be a shame if he was left out. He lures Fritz to the back and stuffs him in Foxy.
At this point, people are starting to catch on that kids are going missing. "Where's Susie?" "Where's Gabriel?" "Where's Fritz?" In the chaos, William takes another victim, Cassidy, she practically ran right into him. She was stuffed into Fredbear.
Finally, there was Andrew, William was specifically brutal with this one. Throwing a bag over his head, knocking him out, and dragging him into the Safe Room where he's stuffed into the only other suit, Spring Bonnie.
Without a suit, William is spotted leaving the Safe Room on camera and becomes a key suspect in a the case of 5 missing kids. Andrew was never reported missing, likely he had no family to report him missing, just some kid in the wrong place at the wrong time. The police knew it was William, there was no way it wasn't, but they couldn't find the bodies and William seemingly had no motive. Why would the owner of Freddy's do something like this at risk of losing their company? The risk didn't make sense. William also seemed very helpful during the investigation, getting another employee arrested, one that was convicted. Either this man was guilty or someone did one hell of a frame up.
This entire event was witnessed by one of the many Mimic robots which caused the program to start Mimicking what happened in the MCI, leading to the shutdown of the project.
All this info on the MCI is shown throughout the games and books but mainly the specifics are only really shown in Fruity Maze, Toy Chica Highschool Years, Pizza Party, and Into The Pit with the order largely coming from the Mangle's Quest code and Security Breach balloons.

2023.06.08 04:44 Ok-Rip4038 Fnaf 6 Escape Ending (fan made)

In FnaF 6 ending Henry said that there was a way out plan of Michael Afton but he stay with Charlie Emily as the puppet and died in that fire in the end. But what if Michael decided to survived and escape the fire and took the Puppet who still had Charlie's soul in her along with her.
This escape ending would change things a lot and is for all of Five Nights at Freddy's fans.

2023.06.08 01:07 Useful-Elk9648 Lore?

Henry Emily in the character encyclopaedia has a picture of his family with two children, a boy and a girl… Gregory and Charlie!! Henry Emily could be the father of David and Charlie. If the mimic1 programme recognised the coding from the puppet, which is in the blob with its eyes unlit because the spirit isn’t actually present in the blob, (when the engineers were scanning in circuit boards from old animatronics) as his sister it could have internalised that coding and made Charlie part of the mimic1 programme putting her in charge of the megaplex and from there it could be possible she built the Gregory bot as a stand in for her brother that died to mimic1 maybe using the staff bots or animatronics and taught him how to code through the post it note room in order to carry out Henry’s instructions in the FNAF 4 secret room. If Henry Emily (Edwin) was on the board of directors as part of the creative department when the pizzaplex is being built under Mr. Burrows he could have easily snuck in the FNAF 4 secret room before being laid off. Also Henry Emily in the character encyclopaedia has two drastically different appearances in the family photo and the photos of him by himself which would go with the whole 40 years later thing. The only problem is that he was meant to die in FNAF 6??? He says he intended to stay behind and burn too, that he was nearby but we never saw that so he could have been lying? Or he could have put plans in motion to have the megaplex built over the FNAF 6 pizza place and mimic1 installed whilst on the board of directors and then been part of the FNAF 6 fire ending? Or Scott could have just retconned it?

2023.06.07 13:52 pageyboy335 The blob is the mimic software

In mats latest video he talks about an AI that controls the pizzaplex called the mimic software. He said it runs through the pizza Plex with black and white wires. Mat made this connection to the puppet, however I believe it solves a different mystery.
The blob is a black tentacle monster that appears to have absorbed many of the other animatronics in the game, and it lives under the pizzaplex in the old pizzeria from FNAF 6. I believe that the blob actually is black and white striped, however from exposure to the mucky underground of the pizzaplex, and possibly ash from the fire, it turned black. From here I made 2 theories.
  1. The blob is an artificial AI that controls the pizza Plex from the background possessed by a child, however it turned evil in some way and started absorbing the animatronics because of agony or something. I believe this would lead to an interesting idea in ruin DLC because the game would revolve around not trying to escape, but trying to shut down the mimic software.
  2. Building on mats theory, what if the mimic actually is the puppet, Charlie, however it takes the form of the blob. This would make sense because, as mat said, Charlie's spirit may reside inside the fnaf 6 pizzeria, which is also where the blob lives, and the blob was absorbing animatronics including William Afton. Perhaps Charlie and William had been fighting in the pizza Plex for some time, but the pizza Plex collapsing in the Afton ending gave her an opportunity to finally get him?

2023.06.07 11:07 thxfrplaying Not Ruin- ReUnIoN

TLDR Gregory was always a villain, Vanessa is NOT an Afton but an Emily, Michael is Freddy, SB was a purposeful set up to free Glitchtrap/William and draw in threats to the Aftons for Ruin, plot of ruin is to "save them", character predictions to complete the "reunion"
All imma say after most recent few vids and new trailers, to try to fill in some community gaps
Gregory is a robot and recreation of Evan, mirrored by the GGY story in the (((books))). Bad news. You play as the villain in Security Breach. The mimic system in SB is run by the influence of Charlie, and upon recognizing Gregory switches into attack mode. After all, it is never explained why they attack you in SB, or what happens to you after you are caught other than the assumed death. They attack because Charlie sees you as an Afton creation and wants to put that to a stop. May also explain why Chica knows your name but nobody else does (Chica is character in Mimic story, very related to Henry, kind of a reach).
Anyway, the only one who breaks free is Freddy, who yes I will suggest is haunted by Michael (recognizes blob souls, and other details in MatPat's video about it). This is why he separates from Charlie's influence, just by nature as he is an Afton, and/or would have been rigged to do so by either Gregory or something else (ex. Burntrap/William/Glitchtrap(?) has this capability in the boss battle, even though it is depicted as an attack, may also be why Freddy gets purpler as you replace parts signifying a break away from the others and closer to the family). This would feed into Freddy's conflicted speech upon seeing the blob, and him being "different", and resistant to William in the end.
I think Gregory had a role in releasing and enabling Afton and was never actually under threat of death except by the Charlie-driven animatronics. After all, there's no Afton jumpscare, you're only killed by the blob or the broken animatronics in the boss fight (again driven by Charlie, though Freddy's possession kill might be a hole in this). I think Gregory was always part of the larger Afton plot, but Gregory actually lost most of his memory somewhere in this process, and therefore can "die" in two different ways in SB- REAL death by Charlie animatronics, or memory death (like a factory reset, but may as well be death to protagonist us) by Afton representatives (hence why Vanny can "kill" you which wouldn't make sense if Gregory was pro-Afton). This also makes sense because Gregory does some things that don't line up with being in with the Aftons, or remembering he is part of the crew, except in the Afton ending, such as disassemble Vanny (also where he overtly exposes Glitchtrap with princess quest). So the Afton ending, probably the cannon one, is the one where Gregory regains his memory of his quest, elaborated below in the William section. Perhaps breaking enough animatronics spurred it.
So kind of tying up the WHY of all this, Ruin is a Reunion. Gregory is there, he stayed because the Afton ending of SB was all part of the plan to lure in (as is the traditional family way) the remaining representatives of the victim souls (Cassy and Charlie as the mimic system opposing the glitchtrap system). Michael is still as Freddy, who is seen broken in the trailer. This could be because (assuming he's been the guard shutting down locations the whole time) he isn't 100% loyal to the cause, or be related to the disassemble ending. This may also be why Freddy can't see Vanny- It's purposeful because they don't quite know what side he's on. Or that could be generally protective to Vanny, as being recognized as under Afton influence by being seen at all could trigger aggression as with Gregory (may partially be why Freddy attacks her with the new eyes, but this also suggests that he should be attacking Gregory too if he's also a direct Afton, though the whole 'new eyes' thing gets really convoluted around Gregory and robot-or-not and/or Afton-or-not).
William's fate is uncertain after being taken by the blob but I think the Burntrap thing was just a red herring. After all, it's all about Glitchtrap now. Perhaps even the boss battle was really to get him into the system, merging with the Mimic through the blob to challenge it directly, hence why Gregory was all part of the plan. Or by some other route Glitchtrap/William exists in whatever that thing at the end of the Ruin trailer is (Glamrock Bonnie is my personal assumption, but that's controversial).
The difficulty is with Vanny and Vanessa. Vanny kind of got dunked on if the disassemble ending is cannon WITH the Afton ending hence Freddy's condition in the Ruin trailer, and her mask was just lying there in the trailer. I think she will return, especially being underutilized in SB, but as an individual trying to indirectly influence Cassy into being infected by Glitchtrap perhaps towards a bad ending (such as by leaving the mask). I believe she did a similar thing when chasing Gregory, supporting the Gregory memory loss theory, where she literally gets him to "see red" with the hallucination kind of effect, and is capable of this kind of thing as he can be influenced by technology being a robot.
Vanessa I do not think is an Afton, her eyes were originally green which I think was only changed so as to not be too heavy handed, and that's a Charlie/good thing. She is also not shown aggression by the animatronics, which would check out with my theory about the related aggression towards Gregory. This would mean the SB good ending was not so much about the reunion of the non corrupted Aftons, but about saving them from the influence of their fatheGlitchtrap/William. Also, if in the new books Henry was a departmental higher up, also evidenced by the FNAF 6 location underneath, that would explain how she was hired by a higher up in those messages. She is related to Henry's side of things, not Afton's. In fact, in the newest theory, SHE could be the guardian mentioned at the end. Hence, the good ending, again, and being shown separate from Vanny in the fire ending and therefore not the same person. I am not 100% certain about either's role in Ruin.
This all also may explain certain scenes and lines in the Ruin trailer, like Roxy not being immediately aggressive to Cassy (not an Afton, therefore not immediately aggressive). However that could also be just a Roxy thing as there's obviously the Monty jumpscare and it wouldn't be a horror game if all of them were friendly. It could be a last stand kind of thing where instead of breaking them like Gregory did, you have to save them even as they are threats. I think Gregory again is just a lure and is a villain (somewhat touched on in MatPat's reaction video), but if Steel Wool pulled that with SB they could do another thing where Cassy is double-double-crossing Gregory and knows that he knows he's a villain and is secretly there not to save him from the pizzaplex but from the influences of his family (don't give up on me yet), and to save the struggling anti-Afton forces, without being corrupted or killed yourself (after all depending on whether or not anyone's a robot there's both physical and digital risk).
So the Aftons are there, the Henry/Charlie/Cassidy/souls whatever are there, it's a Reunion, and especially a family reunion as is the goal of the Aftons bringing everyone together to finish William's legacy which checks out with the secret room. EXCEPT, small problem, Elizabeth, and Mrs. Afton are still in the air. Mrs. Afton has not been pictured except maybe as represented by Ballora, which makes it complicated. Elizabeth has plenty of parallels, especially with Baby/Elizabeth having green eyes, the mask being in the blob, and potential robot recreations eat your heart out. There's also the staff bot parallels. This is why I think a long shot prediction is that we will see surprise characters representing these two in Ruin, assuming they don't already exist and I'm overlooking or dismissing something.
Thoughts or predictions? Sorry if anything is confusing, English is my second language and plus it is fnaf. I can try to explain some things more as well.

2023.06.07 04:18 Personian829 [Theory[ Everything wrong with Game Theory's "I solved Ruin"

Hello! This is a post I decided to write in response to Matpat's newest FNAF theory, "I solved Ruin"
The first half of the video is not that bad. He gets GGY right for the most part. He correctly connected Greg from GGY to Gregory from SB. I do not have much to say regarding that matter. GGY is directly connected to SB, and there is no room for debate regarding that, and the fact that Gregory was under the control of Glitchtrap.
Granted, Matpat says that he was WORKING for Glitchtrap, though the way I see it, Gregory was more of a pawn. I don't think Gregory was himself at all. Security Breach even shows this. I don't think Gregory was lying in SB, he just had no idea what was going on, since for who-knows-how-long he was under the control of Glitchtrap.
We can use Vanny as an example. When Vanny switches back to Vanessa... well, Vanessa does not remember what she did as Vanny. The same could apply to Gregory. Also keep in mind that Gregory was EXTREMELY smart in GGY, saying very psychological statements all the time, which really screams "mimic!" to me.
Gregory obviously was taken over for a while, since he had a little trouble remembering his name in the beginning of Security Breach, meaning SB probably doesn't take place very much longer after Gregory somehow broke out of Glitchtrap's control.
Though I do have a problem with how he worded something, though. Matpat said that Gregory was working for "AFTON" which in itself is not correct. Tales show that "Afton" is no longer here, and that Glitchtrap is simply a mimic1 program developed around 1984.
And regarding Gregory being a robot... unfortunately, I think he kind of has to at this point. Heck, GGY indirectly shows that he likely is a robot.
GGY takes place at least a couple of years before SB. Gregory is 12 during the events of GGY, therefore making him 14-15 by the events of SB. However, he still looks 12 during SB.
Though at the same time, there is a problem with the statement I made: the robots in other books, such as the original novel trilogy, are able to grow like regular humans. So why not Gregory?
To be frank, I don't know. The book does say that Greg looks younger than he really is, so for all we know, he may actually be 14 in SB, but just looks younger. That is very much plausible too.
Matpat does have a point about the occasional Gregbot hints in GGY, though, and the evidence at this point is rather compelling.
Now, onto other things: The Mimic.
Firstly, he went over the story pretty well. One thing I will point out though is that Matpat says that what happened when Edwin beat up the Mimic was that he was essentially injecting Agony into it.
I am personally a bit mixed on that take. I think what happened was that after Edwin beat up the Mimic, it decided to Mimic that, as it had just learned violence. Also noticed how Edwin beat it up. The Mimic kills its victims in a way similar to how Edwin "destroyed" the Mimic. The Mimic kills its victims by tearing up their limbs and mangling them. Very similar to how Edwin beat up the Mimic.
I think more evidence points to the fact that Mimic simply learned violence rather than having to be injected with Agony to start harming people.
Though it could be both, though. Perhaps Mimic learned violence while also being injected with Agony. It could have gone down like that.
Let me be real, Matpat lost me when he began building a parallel between Edwin and Henry.
Sure, many aspects of them are different. But you are capable of having a parallel between two characters without it explicitly being two separate timelines.
For example, Glamrock Freddy seems like an obvious parallel to Michael Afton, though that doesn't mean he IS Michael Afton.
Edwin's dead kid, David, is not parallel to Charlotte. They don't even die the same way.
Charlotte is killed when William Afton murders her outside of a pizzeria. David dies after being hit by a car whilst chasing after his ball.
Sure, both are tragedies, but if we see a little kid get murdered and then a little kid being hit by a car, how do you expect to build parallel's here? They die in a completely different way.
Matpat once again tries to pull a parallel between Henry and Edwin and that Henry began the business back in 1983, and The Storyteller explains that The Mimic happened 40 years before... there is a major problem with this. A big one.
The Storyteller takes place in 2024 because The Mimic happened around 1984.
I know, saying The Storyteller is in 2024 sounds like a bit of a stretch because it does sound like it, because Fnaf 3 was believed to be set in 2023, and it does not make sense for Fnaf 3, Fnaf 6, Fnaf VR, Fnaf AR, and the entire construction of the Pizzaplex to happen in one year.
This does lead me to believe that Fnaf 3 in fact takes place in 2015, but this statement is not what this post is about, so if you want me to make a separate post on that, let me know.
Anyways, Matpat says the "40 years thing" to be a parallel to Henry and that his whole thing happened in 1983 and he came back in 2023... which makes absolutely no sense and is a major contradiction.
The way he explains The Storyteller as a story is weird.
The way he says it, he believes that David (Edwin's dead son, also the person who trained the mimic1 program) got infused into everything, and that is not the case. It's Glitchtrap. The mimic1 program is the same thing as Glitchtrap. Mimic1 is literally the canon name for Glitchtrap, similar to how Mimic is the canon name for Burntrap.
Edwin trying to talk to his son through the weird language David made does not mean David is present. It is a mimic program, not literally David.
Regarding the Charlie thing, sure, Charlie is very clearly present in the Pizzaplex, and I think the Tales story shows that her spirit is haunting the Pizzaplex. However, the mimic1 program is not the same as Charlie haunting the Pizzaplex. Charlie is present in the Pizzaplex, though the mimic1 program also is.
Anyhow, these are the big problems I had with his newest theory. I don't hate Matpat, I think he is a great person, but this theory was really a downhill spiral.
Leave your thoughts below! I would love to read them!

2023.06.07 04:06 Jake52212 My takeaway from today's theory

The FNAF 6 fire basically did NOTHING. Like, seemingly Henry survived, William survived, Charlie/The Puppet survived. Baby and Molten Freddy the jury is still out but I'll count Molten Freddy as The Blob. Mike seemingly just went into a new animatronic (Freddy) So basically almost everyone that was in that fire IS STILL ALIVE.in some shape or form.

2023.06.07 00:20 Logan_Entertainment The Mind of William Afton & why he partnered up with Henry?

Story:
We all know that William is the main antagonist in the Fnaf franchise. As of writing this, I just finished watching Matpats Fnaf video titled, "Game Theory: FNAF, I SOLVED Ruin! (Security Breach)".
While Matpat was close to how Henry and William partnered up, by saying Henry bought out William from bankruptcy, to reveal that it was the other way around, the question is why?
If William was doing fine financially, why would he go through the trouble to buy out Henry? If we remember to what Henry did, from the parallel to The Puppet Carver, he had a knack of making wooden dolls come to life, without the use of any robotic parts or electricity. While some people would probably find that mediocre (no pun intended 😏), William must have heard or known about it.
That's the reason to why William bought out Henry, to learn his secret. As Fazbear Entertainment's slogan goes, "Where Fantasy and Fun come to Life". William was so keen to learning Henrys secret, that it drove him crazy, resulting in William killing Charlie, just out of spite. Even the original Fnaf book trilogy seems to lean into that, with one of the characters reading Williams note book. Starting with normal notes, then just scribbles.
With that idea in mind, that begs the question, why would William want more? This lines up with Matpats timeline where William was inspired. Maybe during Williams childhood, he went through a lot during the Great Depression? In those times, there was rise in violence, hardship, homelessness, hunger, etc. Even the book trilogy says that William has a hatred to the world, but we've never really gotten a concrete answer to why? I do believe that the life he lived in the Great Depression, is what made him the way he is.

I'd love to hear your overall thoughts on this. I doubt I'm the only one who thought of this, but still, I'd love to hear your thoughts.

2023.06.06 23:40 Clean-Effort7972 The Afton Family (as we know it)

Okay. I have no idea how much of this is true, this is literally just a thought that came to me after seeing and analysing the Ruin Trailer. Feel free to point stuff out about it, I’d love to listen!
In Security Breach, we have the table with the Staff Bots sat around it, which everyone has assumed to be symbolic of the Aftons. It seems to suggest the Afton Family being rebuilt. But what if I were to tell you, that Ruin is doing just that? I can’t say I like what I’m about to type, but here we go.
GGY has confirmed (pretty much) that Gregory is Patient 46. If we are to believe that Gregory is a robotic version of the Crying Child, then that could clear up a few thing about the trailer. Like how is Gregory still alive ‘down here’? The Pizzaplex is clearly aged by quite a while. There’s graffiti and other signs of vandalism around the building, and various newspapers littering the place. Surely a living child couldn’t survive this long. We also have the new Fazbear Frights stories ‘The Mimic’ and ‘The Storyteller’ which strongly suggest Gregory being an AI or robot of some kind. The code written on the wall in Mike’s secret room in the Pizzaplex is an almost direct correlation to the language that Edwin and David speak to the Mimic 1 programme with.
William Afton was in Security Breach as ‘Burntrap.’ He was abducted by ‘The Blob’ at the end of the ‘Afton Ending’ to the game. So seemingly, that’s him out of the picture. But then we have this new figure. This new glitching rabbit has been widely assumed to be Glitchtrap. There’s not really a lot you can definitely say about this figure that confirms this, except it’s glitching effect. The only two entities or characters that make this sort of effect are Glitchtrap, and Malhare (PQ games, correct this if incorrect). Seeing as Malhare is only ever seen in an arcade game, it wouldn’t make sense for it to then have a physical form like the one seen in the trailer. Glitchtrap, however, gains a physical form as you collect tapes in Help Wanted. So, this would make the most logical sense. Glitchtrap is a digitally uploaded version of Williams conscience scanned into help wanted using some old circuit boards. So, if this rabbit is Glitchtrap, then William is here in some way.
Glamrock Freddy is widely theorised to be Michael Afton. He’s unaffected by being controlled, because Glamrock Freddy is already a vessel for Michael Aftons soul. Mike’s room is also featured in Security Breach. This room so happens to be the place where Patient 46’s (Gregory’s) therapy CDs are played, and where the code mentioned above is found, strengthening the bond between Freddy and Gregory, whom would be Michael and the Crying Child.
Matpat said in his timeline videos that Mrs Afton was running the Fazbear Company after the FNaF 6 fire. You’ll have to forgive me, as it’s late and I can’t remember exactly what he said to support this, but I’m sure most of you have watched that if you’re listening to my rant.
So, where does Elizabeth fit into all of this? Well, my suggestion is Cassie. As crazy as that may sound, just hang on with me. Matpat in another video covering Vanessa and Vanny made the claim that there could be multiple Elizabeth bots, similar to the novels’ Charlie bots, with Vanessa and Vanny both being one of these bots. He also mentioned that there’s no telling just how many of these bots there are in existence. If Cassie was an Elizabeth bot, then this would not only complete our Afton Family rebuild, but also explain a few other things. For example, it would explain why Cassie was drawn to the Pizzaplex. Gregory would be her brother, and he needs her help. Gregory asking Cassie not to give up on him would then be a brother seeking his sister’s help. Another reason Elizabeth would be there was because she knows that that is where William is likely to be. Both William and Elizabeth burned in the FNaF 6 fire. A fire that just so happened to take place in the Pizzeria that the Pizzaplex is built over. So, being the loyal, devoted daughter she is, came searching for her father, and knew exactly where to look.
This would complete our Afton Family rebuild. With Gregory as the Crying Child, Cassie as Elizabeth, Glamrock Freddy as Michael, The Glitching rabbit figure as William, and Mrs Afton the owner of the Fazbear Company, everyone is there. Again, feel free to pick at this, it’s late and idk what I’m doing at this point. Thanks for sticking around if you did!

2023.06.06 21:35 Bork-Lasagna Final timeline contradiction

In the fnaf final timeline, Matpat said that the reason William held so much hatred for Henry and killed Charlie in the very beginning was because of the failure of his company. Because of him having to sell out to Henry. But now in the new video Mat says that it was the other way around, and Henry instead had to sell out to William. If that’s the case now, why did William hate Henry? Why would he have killed Henry’s daughter other than just the fact that he was mourning?

2023.06.06 15:04 koola_00 Five Nights at Freddy's Danger at Home Chapter 6: Aftermath

It was only a matter of time before police officers and ambulances arrived.
Freddy had been deactivated prior and was thus taken away by local authorities for examination. However, the entitled woman was taken to the ambulance, her jaw nearly torn off, only barely hanging on.
While Freddy and the women were taken away, Carlton, Jessica, and Marla were checked on by the Chief of Hurricane's Police Department and Carlton's dad, Clay Burke.
"Hm. You really should be careful with what you say to others, Carlton. The worst you'll probably get is a small bruise," he muttered as he gave a small ice pack to Carlton. Carlton nodded.
"Yeah. Though after seeing what Freddy did to that poor Karen (something I'd never thought I'd say), I'd rather have a bruised cheek. I mean, damn; he tore that thing off like a machine ripping apart a watermelon," shivered Carlton. Jessica and Marla, who were nearby, groaned and shivered.
"Well that just was just unnecessary, Carlton," groaned Jessica.
"Yeah, really, man. Jason doesn't need to be reminded of that scene," added Marla as she held Jason close to her while Jason looked quite traumatized by what he had seen. Clay shook his head.
"I never thought I'd be apart of anything related to that damn company again after what happen ten years ago. Speaking of which, where did Freddy come from? Do you know who owns him?" he asked, a look of concern on his face.
The three teens searched for someone before Carlton saw Charlie walking back to them, holding Edward close to her.
"Oh, there's Charlie!" pointed out Carlton. The girls and Clay looked back and smiled in relief before they got up and got to her.
"Charlie! There you are!" Marla greeted. Charlie looked up and replied,
"Oh, hey. Sorry for running off like that. I-I don't know what came over me, I-I was-"
But Jessica placed a hand on her shoulder. Charlie looked at her, seeing a smile on her face.
"It's okay, Charlie. You were just looking out for Edward here. Speaking of which, are you okay, buddy?" she explained before looking at Edward. Edward looked at her and curled himself back, away from her. The three frowned, and Jessica backed away.
"Oh, that's right. You're still scared of me," sighed Jessica.
"Wait, Jessica. Don't-" Charlie began, but Jessica shook her head.
"It's okay, Charlie. I don't want to give him more stress than he already has. It's fine," she assured. Charlie and Marla frowned at this as Clay approached them.
"Ah, Charlie. It's been a while since I last saw you. How are you?" he asked with a small smile. Charlie shrugged.
"I-I could be better. I just…" she said, looking at Edward, who looked up at her. Clay hummed.
"I know. Is he with you?" he asked. Charlie nodded.
"I'm babysitting him while his parents are away in Dubai. Why?" she asked.
"Oh, I see. Well, I just wanted to know who's responsible for bringing that Freddy robot," answered Clay. Charlie frowned as she felt Edward shivering a bit. She gently rubbed his back as she answered,
"It was his parents. They volunteered for the Fazbear Funtime Service. They left by the time Freddy was delivered here."
"Hm. I see. Hey, Charlie, I hate to do this, but do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions regarding how you and Freddy?" he asked. Charlie nodded.
"O-Of course," she said. Clay nodded before looking at Edward.
"Um…without the kid, preferably?" he reminded. Charlie frowned but nodded. She then looked at Marla.
"Hey, can you-" she began, but Marla nodded.
"Of course. Come on, Edward," she cooed as Charlie began to hand him over. Edward whimpered, but Charlie looked at him.
"It's okay, Eddie. I've got to answer some questions, but I promise I won't be far. I'll be back before you know it, okay?" she assured. While unsure, Edward nodded.
"O-Okay," he muttered. Charlie smiled as she ruffled his hair before handing him over to Marla. Edward looked at Charlie, who smiled at him before Clay took her away.
"It's okay, sweet pea. Mr. Burke's a good man; he won't hurt Charlie or any of us," she assured as she sat back down, holding Edward close.
"Yeah, man! Plus, he's my dad, too. So, he couldn't, otherwise, my mom would, uh, kill him," added Carlton with a shrug, chuckling in his attempt to joke around. However, Edward was not in the mood to joke around. He was looking down at the ground. Marla, Jessica, and Carlton frowned while Jason scooted closer, gently taking Edward's left hand and squeezing it tightly. Edward responded by meekly tightening his hold.
"Edward! Edward!"
Edward blinked at a familiar little girl's voice. He looked to his left to see Cassie rushing to them. He watched as Cassie soon got to them.
"Are you okay?" she asked. Edward frowned and looked down.
"I-I don't know, Cassie. I…" he began, but he found himself unable to speak. Marla gently squeezed him in assurance.
"Cassie, sweetie. I-I don't think he's in the mood to talk right now," she insisted. Cassie frowned as she looked down.
"I-I'm sorry. I just wanted to see if he and Jason are okay," she explained. Jason and Edward looked at her, the former giving a smile.
"Well, physically, we're fine. But everything else…I dunno," Jason retorted. Cassie nodded in understanding before Edward lifted his head slightly.
"A-Are you okay?" he asked. Cassie looked at him and nodded.
"Yeah. I'm fine. Just…that was scary," Cassie replied, looking away. Edward nodded in agreement, and the kids remained quiet before Cassie looked at Edward and Jason again.
"I…I've gotta go. But I hope we can see each other again. Especially you, Edward. I like you," she said, smiling softly. Jason and Edward smiled back, and the latter responded by raising his left fist. Cassie giggled and bumped Edward's fist with his own.
"Bye, Cassie," said Edward.
"Yeah. Hope we see you again soon," added Jason.
"I hope so, too. Bye!" Cassie giggled softly before she turned around and sped off. Edward and Jason smiled slightly as they watched her before the former looked down, regressing to his thoughts.
Jessica, Carlton, and Marla watched the whole thing, and they had smiles on their faces.
"Well, I guess this day hasn't been all 'doom-and-gloom'," chuckled Carlton. Jessica nodded as Marla gently rubbed Edward's back.
"Yeah. Lord knows he needs it after what happened," confided Jessica, making Carlton nod in agreement.
Soon, Charlie returned with Chief Burke.
"*sigh* Alright. Now, you guys are good to go. But if you all notice anything, let me know immediately. Understood?" he instructed. The teens nodded in understanding as Marla got up. Edward looked at Charlie and immediately reached for her. Marla noticed and stood up.
"How's everything, Charles?" asked Marla as she handed Edward over to her.
"It's fine. He just asked questions about how Freddy worked, whether he had been acting strange beforehand, and stuff like that," replied Charlie as she took the boy before sighing. She looked at the crowd, who were starting to disperse.
"I should probably head back. This day got really sour and I still need to process everything that happened," she said. The others understood this.
"Yeah. I'm taking Jason back to our hotel for the same reasons," Marla explained as she took Jason's hand.
"I need to distract myself to cope better. Plus, I think mom needs help with housework," reasoned Carlton.
"Me…I'm just gonna walk around. I wish you guys well," finished Jessica as she looked at them with a caring smile. Charlie nodded as Edward looked at her, still unsure about her.
Later, Charlie returned to Edward's house, setting the boy down on the floor. She closed the door and sighed as Edward stepped forward. Then she looked at him.
"Hey, Eddie. How are you feeling, buddy?" she asked. Edward did not turn to look at her. He just looked down at the floor.
"I…I wanna be alone right now. C-Can I stay in your room, please?" Edward asked. Charlie raised a brow momentarily before remembering his room was filled with Freddy-themed merchandise. She nodded and placed a hand on his back.
"Sure. If you need anything, let me know. Okay, honey?" asked Charlie.
"...Mmhmm," went Edward before walking up the stairs, leaving Charlie alone.
"I-I'll be in the living room," she called out.
"Okay…" Edward replied as Charlie sat down. She looked at the spot where Freddy once was and sighed.
Vmm. Vmm. Vmm.
Charlie raised a brow and fished out her phone from her pocket. She then grew exacerbated as she recognized the phone number. Charlie then pressed the number and began talking.
"Good timing for you to call, Vanessa," she began sarcastically.
"I am SO sorry for not answering. I-I've been so busy with work that I never got the time to answer," Vanessa's voice emitted from the phone, sounding rather desperate and apologetic.
"Hm. What could possibly have been going on at work to make it more important than what's happening with the damn robots?!" asked Charlie.
"Ugh, look, it doesn't matter; I'm here now and can help with whatever you have. I've got your voicemail, and it mentions Freddy being able to move when it's not supposed to. Right?" asked Vanessa. While she was talking, Charlie was taking deep breaths to calm herself. When she was finished, Charlie nodded and gulped.
"Yes, that's correct. What's with that?" she asked. After a brief pause, Vanessa replied,
"Oh no," she began before Charlie heard incoherent mumbling as Vanessa seemed to have moved away from the phone. She had an eyebrow raised, wondering what Vanessa meant by that.
When Vanessa returned, she asked,
"Have you turned on the Controlled Shock feature while Freddy was deactivated?"
"E-E…Emergency mode?" asked Charlie.
"Yes. I told you that there's a button for the feature in Freddy's endoskeleton and that by turning on, you can use the Fazbear Funtime Service app to shock the robot into temporarily shutting down and forcing a reboot," explained Vanessa. Charlie blinked in confusion.
"Y-You never told me this," she reasoned.
"Yes. I did! Back when I first brought him here. Were you not paying attention?!" berated Vanessa.
Charlie's eyes widened as she realized; back when Vanessa first brought Freddy here yesterday, she explained how the animatronic worked. But she was so focused on Freddy being at the house…
"Shit," went Charlie as she ran her hand through her hair.
"Charlie. Did something else happen today with Freddy?" asked Vanessa. Charlie gulped and explained. When she was done, Charlie could hear a thumping sound, making her flinch her head back.
"Um, hello?" she asked. There was a shuffling sound before Vanessa replied,
"HOW COULD YOU LET THAT HAPPEN?! YOU SHOULD'VE PAID MORE ATTENTION TO MY INSTRUCTIONS!"
"I know. I know. I'm sorry. I just," Charlie went as she began to panic, wishing her friends were here.
"That woman may be an entitled bitch, but…ugh!" went Vanessa before the line went quiet for what felt like forever. Charlie winced as she looked at the ground, contemplating the stupidity of her not paying attention and how it cost her.
"Vanessa. I'm very sorry. I-" she began before,
"I know. It's not ENTIRELY your fault. The programmers at the company had spent half a year ensuring everything was alright. We had a problem with a virus a year or two ago, and we had it solved. But the animatronics do show signs of their 'quirkiness' for a lack of a better word, and we installed that feature in just to be safe," confided Vanessa. Charlie blinked in confusion.
"Yo-You've had this problem before?" asked Charlie.
"I-I can't elaborate more. Classified info, and I'm already risking my job by telling you. But yeah," Vanessa elaborated.
"Oh," went Charlie as she placed a hand on her forehead. After another short pause, Vanessa asked,
"You said Freddy's in custody already?"
"Yeah. Why?" replied Charlie.
"*sigh* I'm sure the company's gonna do everything in their power to retrieve it. Listen, just…just stay away from Freddy. With what you've told me, anything can…" began Vanessa before there was another pause.
"Uh, h-hello? Vanessa, are you there?" asked Charlie, straightening herself up as she grew concerned. After a brief period, Vanessa finally replied,
"Sorry. I spilled something on the desk; I have to clean it up. I hope you and Edward take care of yourselves."
"Uh, what? But you said something about staying away-" began Charlie.
"Forget I said that. Freddy's locked up; that's all that matters now. Just…take care of yourself and the little guy. Okay?" interrupted Vanessa. Charlie paused and grew unsure. But she nodded.
"A-Alright. Take care, and I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention," Charlie said. But Vanessa did not respond. She hung up while she was talking. With a sigh, Charlie placed the phone on the sofa and covered her face. Her hands then quivered as she began to whimper.
Shit, shit, shit…what have I done? Charlie thought as she sat by herself, sniffling.
Later, Charlie walked over to her guest room, knocked on the door, and went inside.
"Hey, Edward? Edward?" asked Charlie as she looked into the room, realizing that Edward's nowhere to be found. Her brief moment of alarm was, thankfully, diffused when she heard from beneath the bed,
"I'm here."
Charlie sighed in relief and went down on all fours to look underneath the bed. Edward was back facing her as he curled up in a ball. Charlie winced at him doing this as a memory from ten years ago came back into her mind when she remembered Sammy being so upset that…
I've GOT to stop thinking about Sammy, she thought to herself as Charlie reached forward.
"Come out of there, buddy. It's not comfortable," she instructed.
"But I wanna stay here. I'm playing pretend," replied Edward.
"Pretend? What are you pretending to be, or do?" persisted Charlie as she tilted her head in confusion. Edward did not reply. Charlie remained confused before she remembered the playground. She hummed as she sat down, back pressed against the bed.
"You know, Eddie. There's another way you can pretend you're in a safe space. More comfortable," she said.
"W-What?" answered Edward. Charlie hummed as she thought of an idea. She then looked down.
"If you come out, I'll show you," she insisted. There was silence for a moment before Edward could be heard shuffling. Soon, he slugged out and looked up at Charlie. Charlie smiled as she soon stood up and undid the cover of her bed. She looked at her and gestured to the bed. Edward looked confused, but he complied and crawled into it. Charlie took off her boots as she followed him, enveloping themselves in the cover.
"See? Comfortable, isn't it?" she asked with an assuring smile. Edward looked around, inspecting the surroundings. Then, he looked at Charlie.
"It's like being in a tent in a forest or jungle," mused Edward, and Charlie could see a faint glimpse of something in Edward's eyes. Something positive, it seemed. Smiling, she scooted closer to Edward, and that was when Edward looked at her.
"Miss Charlie?" he asked.
"Hm?" she asked.
"I…I'm sorry,"
Charlie blinked in confusion.
"For what?" she asked.
"You…you were right about Freddy. You said he made you uncomfortable. I let him inside. It's…It's…" whimpered Edward. Charlie frowned as she scooted closer and placed a hand on his cheek.
"Edward, no. Don't blame yourself for this. I-I'm the one who's at fault," she said. Edward looked at her, and Charlie continued,
"When Miss Vanessa brought him inside, she mentioned a feature inside that would stop Freddy from acting violent, as they had problems with that before. B-But I wasn't paying attention, and that's how you almost died, and that woman might never talk again. So the blame's on me. Okay?"
She cupped their hands together as she explained, her voice quivering as she held in tears. Edward looked at her, stunned by what she said. Charlie stared at him, holding in her cries. Then, Edward responded by tightening his hold on her hands affectionately.
"You were scared of Freddy," he explained. Charlie shook her head.
"That's no excuse. I…I needed to be more responsible. And starting now, I'm gonna do my best to be better," she explained. Edward looked at her, seeing the determined look on her face, before scooting forward.
"Miss Charlie. Promise me you won't leave me. C-Cassidy's hardly around, and Freddy…" he paused, looking down sadly. Charlie gently picked him up and placed him on her legs.
"Honey, put your ears on my chest. I want you to listen to something," she instructed. Edward did so, and he heard a rhythmic beating inside. He blinked as he gave a soft smile.
"I heard this before when mommy hugged me. She says it's something called uh…hmm…I forgot," he mumbled.
"It's called a heartbeat, Eddie. And you wanna know something important about it?" went Charlie. Edward looked up as he listened to the heartbeat.
"I don't know anything about a 'Cassidy,' and Freddy…well, that Freddy's a machine. But when you listen to this heartbeat…as long as you hear this heartbeat, I won't leave you. You can trust me," she explained as she held him close, gently rocking him sideways. She then looked down to see Edward looking at her with a hopeful smile, which warmed her heart. Charlie held him close, and Edward leaned into her body.
After a moment of silence, Edward looked up at her and smiled.
"You're the best, Charlie. Oh, I mean Miss," he stuttered, but Charlie placed a thumb on his lip.
"It's okay. If it makes you more comfortable, then you can drop the 'Miss.' I don't mind," she assured. Edward smiled and nodded before looking away.
"You're nice. You and your friends…including Miss Jessica," he replied with a slight frown. Charlie nodded.
"Actually, I've been meaning to talk to you about Jessica. She told me about what you told her and the others. Is it true that you're scared of her because of what your father said?" she asked.
"Mmhm. But after seeing how she was earlier, I…I don't know now," Edward admitted.
"Uh-huh. Well, Edward, I want you to know; while Jessica may have been a brat when she was little, she's an amazing person now. I've followed her online, and she's one of the sweetest, smartest, and most selfless friends I've ever had. She's also forgiving (mainly to those whom she feels deserves it), so the next time you see her, please give her a chance. Can you do that?" explained Charlie with a pleading smile.
Edward looked down and rubbed his nose.
"Will she let me? Can I still be friends with her?" he asked, unsure.
"Of course, baby. I trust her and my other friends, so I'm sure you can, too," replied Charlie as she gently booped him in the nose, making Edward giggle. Charlie laughed as well as she then asked,
"Are you feeling better now? Do you wanna come out of the tent?"
Edward nodded. Charlie smiled as she removed the cover, exposing them to the sunlight and making Edward wince briefly.
"Can we watch cartoons?" he asked.
"Of course. I think I have something in my mind that you're gonna LOVE!" Charlie said as she picked him up and walked out of the room.
For Charlie and Edward, this was a period of calm that they deserved. But they do not know of the storm coming their way…
AN: Hey, everyone!
Another chapter of this story is out of the way. It's a bit of a slow burner, but I promise; the next one will definitely pick up! Also, I made a change in this and the last chapter regarding one of the characters to accommodate the release of the Ruin gameplay trailer.
Speaking of which, we ate GOOD last month with the trailers for the FNAF movie, the Ruin gameplay trailer, and Help Wanted 2. Not to mention Scott's birthday yesterday (at the time of my writing this (Happy Belated Birthday, Scott!)), so this year has been good for FNAF. Looking forward to all of these future games!
Also, the lore reveals with the recent TFPP books…good thing I'm not too deep into this and my SB fanfics, so I can still adjust to them! Hehehe…
Well, anyway…that's all I've got to say! Hope you enjoy it, leave any respectful and constructive criticisms if you have any, and stick around for more!

2023.06.06 12:29 internetman5032 Several questions about the logic of FNAF.

  1. Since we know that Mike Schmidt is Michael Afton from FNAF 1, and he wants to be here, why does Jeremy Fitzgerald (the nightguard in FNAF 2) not leave after the first 2 Nights? He knows that the toy animatronics are able to move cause they are programmed that way, but what about the withered animatronics? I don't think $100.50 is enough motivation to risk my life.
  2. We know that Michael is around 15 by the time the Bite of '83 happens, so I am sure that he IS smart enough to know not to put a small child in the mouth of an animatronic, but he does it anyway. Why?
  3. Why did people still go to Freddy's after the Bite, and especially after the first MCI? The Bite could be considered an accident, but the MCI was clearly a murder. So would parents think logically and not come to that place again?
  4. Why was there no day shift employee during the Bite? William wasn't there and it isn't known if Henry was there. Also, it doesn't make sense to not have dayshift employees at Fredbear's, since the animatronics weren't equipped with the facial recognition tech.
  5. How did the Missing Children believe Afton? His lies are anything but creative, haven't they heard about the Phrase ''Stranger Danger?''. Yes, I know he was in a mascot suit, but still, the kids aren't 5 or 6, they are 11,12 and 13. That is an age where you know not to trust strangers.
  6. Weren't there any witnesses? Did literally no one see a 6'2 yellow bunny suit luring kids into a backroom?
  7. Why would someone reopen Freddy's for a 4th time in Security Breach? The only plausible reason is that Ms.Afton reopened it, but if she did, how would she find the money to build a VR Game, hire employees, build a multi-story mega mall and build the animatronics with such detailed programming?
  8. Isn't Cassidy tired of torturing William, like she has seen him die quite a bit, isn't it time to let it go now?
  9. Why did Afton have kids? We all know he doesn't care about them, so why?
  10. This is the last one, but did not a single parent or employee see Charlie outside of the Pizza Place? Also, why was the door locked, it's not like the restaurant was closed, there were still kids in there.

2023.06.05 21:42 MoneyLocal8180 Afton family deaths (not confirmed just speculating when they died

Ms. Afton pre 1983: I think she is the first afton to die as there is a grave in midnight motorist and I feel like it would make the most sense cause she’s basically irrelevant throughout the entire franchise. Her death would most likely bring the afton family apart because she was probably the glue of the afton because in security breach, her model is at the head of the table signifying that she was the one keeping them together but her death made the family grow far apart.
Crying child 1983 (for the sake of this being quicker ima call him Evan): I feel like Evan died before Elizabeth. Just because the girls room in fnaf 4 is empty did mean she’s dead. I feel like because of her mothers death Elizabeth was clinging onto her father (William afton) because she lost her mother at suck a young age (I think she’s the youngest in the family) So I feel like every time William went to work Elizabeth would want to come with him all the time and William probably just dropped her off at the daycare that’s at Fredbares family diner. And it would also explain why Evan is always there, so he can watch her. Mrs Aftons death probably hit Micheal hard so to take out his anger he took it all out at Evan and it got so worse to the point where he accidentally killed him in 1983.
Elizabeth 1987-1993: the dates are reaching A LOT. Because of her mom and brothers death Elizabeth was going through a lot one because of that the clinging to her father became more apparent and unhealthy and she refused to cling onto Micheal cause she most likely hated him or didn’t feel comfortable near him because he killed Evan. William was going through grief as well so I feel like after Evan’s death in a fit of rage he killed Charlie after seeing Henry still have his child when his died and on top of that the death of his wife he was really grieving. When he killed Charlie he probably saw the tears the next time and started searching up remnant cause the tears meant that Charlie possessed it. Henry probably predicted that William killed Charlie so kicked him out the company. Then the grand reopening of Freddy fazbears pizza in 1987 with the toys so William worked the night shift then switched to the day shift because of the animatronics trying to kill him with the old ones being posses by the kids he killed in 1985 and the toys having the facial recognition. In night 5 phone call phone guy said that that someone used the suits so William definitely killed again and in the foxy mini game in fnaf 2 it showed that William killed 5 more kids and in fnaf 6 phone call phone guy states non of them are acting right which tells me that those 5 children possessed the toys (5 kids 5 toy animatronics) which would also explain why they are so much harder to deal with in night 6 of fnaf 2. Why did I explain all of that? Well because I had to because it wouldn’t make sense for William to start making the funtime animatronics that looks a lot like the toys. After killing those 5 children William probably saw the kids possess the toys and that’s how he got more interested in remnant. So after fnaf 2 closes they company of fazbears pizza used the toy animatronics parts to put them back on the old ones leaving the toys as just spare parts. William took the toys (which still had the souls inside) and melted them together like in candy cadets story’s and then he put them in his funtimes so the ghost that possessed the toys are now in the funtimes which makes sense to me because obviously the funtimes would have to have souls to move around in sister location and eventually make the decision to kick Elizabeth out of Ennard. So eventually William tried to open the sister location restaurant but Elizabeth wanted to see baby because William made it for her and that poor child probably needed anything to cling in too after seeing death at such a young age. So I think she died somewhere between 1987-1993.
William afton 1993: Feel like William died 4th cause the death of his 2 children and his wife turned him over the edge so after the events of fnaf 1 he took apart the og animatronics like at the end of every night in fnaf 3. I’m assuming he did this to get more remnant but of course the og kids he killed got revenge so he died.
Micheal Afton 2023-2024: I 100% believe that Micheal is the last to die. I feel like he is the character we play as in fnaf 1 and 2 for a lot of reasons. 1. He feels guilty about getting his brother killed and wants to atone so when fnaf had its grand reopening he worked the night shift after his dad quit and it would also explain why the animatronics where trying to kill us in fnaf 2 because Micheal looked a lot like William like at the end of sister location he said “they thought I was you.” When talking about his father. 2. He still cared about Elizabeth so probably worked at fnaf 2 to provide for the family. I theorize that Micheal got fired for tampering with the animatronics because golden Freddy appeared in night 6 the same one that killed his brother so probably took his rage out on the suit but got caught. (also I think that the golden Freddy suit is the suit William used to kill the kids in fnaf 2 because in the fnaf 3 mini games at the end of every night it shows a purple beat leading the animatronics and I would make sense because the kids wouldn’t follow William if he didn’t wear anything and they wouldn’t follow the spring Bonnie suit because that’s what got them killed so in fnaf 2 he probably didn’t want to risk the old animatronics seeing him in the spring Bonnie suit and attack him and it would also explain why golden Freddy appeared in night 6 of fnaf 2 because the 2 kids were still in the suit and Cassidy was probably heated by him doing that which cause her to hate William even more )
Then Micheal worked in fnaf 1 (still getting attacked because he looked like his father same when he worked in sister location)
Then the events of fnaf 3 happened then pizza simulator happens where he died in the fire.
The reason I say he died in 2023- 2024 is because it’s been 30 years since William has died and he died in 1993 so I feel like pizza simulator would take place in the same year or 1 year after so in conclusion Micheal died in 2023-2024
If your reading this thank you for reading this all this is like a first for me making a fnaf theory and sharing it cause I want to experience the fnaf theory community. Feel free to rate this theory and say your problems with it cause I’m not no game theory member.

2023.06.04 12:17 Significant_Buy_2301 How much does the general public know, and massive implications regarding emotion power

Does nobody know the full story except for the spirits themselves and Henry? I could also see Fazbear Entertainment knowing a lot because they´ve been acting very suspicious from FNAF 6 onwards.
Examples include:
- sending one of the employees in FNAF 6 to get lobotimized because he listened to Henry´s audiolog
- The entire games cover-up in VR
- Them literally mentioning the digital consciousness transfer in the HW intro
- Their fishy behaviour in SB
- Them praising Afton in the SB elevator faz-facts
In fact, I made an entire theory about how they are aware of everything that´s been happening. You can read the theory here: My wild theory about Fazbear Entertainment : fnaftheories (reddit.com).
Emotion power
But this got me thinking. Since Fazbear Frights, we know that emotions are power in the FNAF multiverse. Agony can bring things to life. We see this all throughout FF. But it´s not just agony. It seems like any emotion can bring things to life, if it is expressed deeply enough. We see this with Henry in the novel trilogy. He loses himself in grief so much, that he brings Charlie-Bot to life through his tears. But lots of people experience grief, tragedy, loss, anger etc. every day. So bringing things to life through emotions has be a fairly regular occurrence in the FNAF universe. Even though only TFTP might be canon to the games, emotion power has been a reoccurring theme all-throughout FNAF overall, so logically it would apply to the games as well.
This however raises questions. Like, if emotions can bring things to life, why hasn´t the general public suspected something about the animatronics from the get-go? Are there secret societies that exploit this "power"? Is paranormal, well, normal in the FNAF world? Is emotion power used to create a replica of someone who has died and using them as a sort of coping/psychological therapy mechanism? How does mental health even work in the FNAF world to begin with?
Because, we have only seen things directly or indirectly tied to Freddy´s. Who knows, how the general outside world operates?
Either I´m reading to much into this, or I´ve just uncovered massive plot implications.
EDIT:
Is emotion power used to create a replica of someone who has died and using them as a sort of coping/psychological therapy mechanism?
Actually that one would make for a cool FF story. Imagine someone intentionally or unintentionally creating a replica of someone close to them that they lost recently (we see it in the novel trilogy after all) and using this replica to say goodbye and/or make amends. Cool concept. Now I really want to see it in a Fazbear Fright book.

2023.06.04 04:42 EntertainerBasic7811 Why is the fnaf 4 time lines so confusing?

I think out of the whole plot or story of fnaf I feel like fnaf 4 is the one I see extremely split opinions about the most for when it take place. I see some saying that it happens after William kills the 5 kids which I don’t really understand while I see others say it was the start of it all and that Evan was the first to die, or that Charlie was the first to die. Currently this is the most confusing thing for me right now in terms of the story. Do you think that Charlie was first killed before fnaf4? Or that Evan was the first to die which would explain why William became more and more psychotic?
